He's the dog's bollocks and he's taking us up.....this season or most likely next.
After 20 odd years of pushing self destruct, we've been conditioned into expecting the worst

To be honest I was amazed when we lost 4-0 at home to Fulham and I came on here expecting wrist slashing and crying into beer posts, but the overwhelming message coming back from the forum was “oh well, we got stuffed by a good team, let’s just dust ourselves down and move on”.

However, I think the team are in a bit of a “down” currently, but the difference is we are putting in the effort, are still good to watch, and are still drawing whereas in past seasons, and at the beginning of this season we would be losing. We just aren’t “clicking” like we did for a spell earlier in the season, but I have every confidence that Cooperman can sort it.

I feel more confident about the future currently than in any season since Frank Clark and the first time we were relegated to this Division.

Will we get promotion this season? I don’t think so, but I am very confident that if we can have a good window this January and again in the summer we could really be challenging next season.

As long as we carry on playing good attractive football and ride the highs and lows of the season, that’s all I am asking for.

    So far, so good!

I’m struggling to see post after post of people discussing Cooper’s future.

I see some complaining about people already back on the whinging after him being here 2 months though.

I don’t see anything but people maiming about imaginary moaning!.
For me it’s simple-we’ve had a bit of a bounce with a new and dynamic manager and we’re settling in now to a new way of doing things. I still think the squad isn’t good enough and that’s the major problem we are going to run up against. Strip away our 2 FB loanees and we look fairly mediocre…

Like I have said a million times we need to give a good manager 2 full seasons now. Hopefully Cooper gets that time

"See" whatever you wish, but as far as I'm concerned, I believe the following observation 100%......

We’re gonna batter Peterborough next week and we will be the best thing since sliced bread again.

I doubt we’ll batter anyone until we can field 2 attacking full backs. Our team style revolves around them

Your palms are holding her neck and thumbs are at her ears regulating the speed of her head as she swallows and then sucks up your machinery. She is topping up your engine oil for the cross-country coming up. Your RPM is hitting a new high. To wait any longer would be to lose prime time... She picks up a Bugatti's momentum. You want her more at a Volkswagen's steady trot. Squeeze the maximum mileage out of your gallon of gas. But she's eating up the road with all cylinders blazing.

The Steve Cooper Rolling Scorecard (time to wear big coats now 20/21 edition)

    West Brom 0-0 Forest

Another reasonably solid away performance under testing conditions and a committedly non-footballing opposition. All things considered, this was a point well won and although there wasn’t much to see as a spectacle, the lads dug in well to get a return.

It wasn’t massively surprising that we lacked creative flair going forward and we could definitely still do with tightening up at the back more, but the internal target would likely have been to avoid defeat and the fact we can now do this speaks well of the durability of the squad.

SC cards another par to remain at -6 on the Rolling Scorecard.

    Trend (last 6): d, D, W, d, D, d.

    We need more Scottish players.

    They batter everything.

Kenny Burns certainly did-as Kevin Keegan might
    recall from Madrid.
