    Default Hal Robson-Kanu

Rumblings are starting to make the rounds that Robson-Kanu may be approached to fill the last open roster spot at Forest this season.

He is out of contract currently after leaving West Brom, and might be the sort of striker that appeals to Hughton.

I wonder if papers will start reporting this soon?

Not a player I'd thought of myself but he does fit the Hughton MO.

Hardly profilic but has played higher than us for long periods. Also 32 years old now. Still he does add something different as an option off the bench. Wouldn't be totally surprised to see this happen.

I’d rather a 60 year old Nwankwo Kanu

Hope he's got a better intelligence than your average footballer.

Not injury prone enough for Nottingham Forest

Realistically I think that he could do a Murray-esq level job. Which might be all we need to stay up.

Jesus Christ though it shows how fucked up the Vrentzos era has left us. We're in a right state aren't we?

Not his biggest fan but Taylor and Grabban have been absolutely pish for over 12 months so there isn't anything to to lose

Apart from wages, we need to stop signing player for the sake of it. Sign him and he goes into the bomb squad next season and we lose 500k-1m a year.

We need to go crazy and stop signing players because "what's the worst that can happen" and sign players that are actually good.

    Crazy concept.

It's a good point, but I think this could be the opposite. I think he could be Hughton's new Murray and help keep us up.

Proper wank we're in that position, but survival has to be prioritized sadly.

You can't beat a good-old forum meltdown courtesy of some random name thrown-in by a poster who's evidence is "rumblings", whilst even providing Alf an opportunity to name-check Vrentzos.

It'd be ace if it was Vrentzos who started the "rumblings"

    More chance of Emma Raducanu.

„I believe in socialism because it seems more humanitarian, rather than every man for himself and 'I'm alright jack' and all those arsehole businessmen with all the loot. I made up my mind from viewing society from that angle. That's where I'm from and there's where I've made my decisions from. That's why I believe in socialism“

„Don't forget you're alive. 'Cause sometimes when you walk around the city and you're in a bad mood, you can think, hey, wait a minute, we're alive! We don't know what the next second will bring and what a fantastic thing this is. This can get easily forgotten in the routine of life, and that's something I'm trying to bring to my attention at all times. Don't forget you're alive. We're not dead, you know. This is the greatest thing.”

I strongly suspect the OP may have mischievously created this thread after seeing one of those local-media click-bait 'news' items on Google, such as one that appeared on my phone, whereby this bloke was listed amongst a number of free-agents that Barnsley could potentially consider.
