Let me put it in his thread as well:

He was good last season. The kind of player who constantly creates trouble for the opponent's defence with his runs and his dribbles. Not spectacular as far as end product is concerned though.

He will provide lovely crosses resulting in throw ins for our opponents as we don't have any strikers to get on the end of them. Yippee

I've never seen the lad play, can't recall seeing any highlights of him either, but just wait until you see these..... *ahem*....."highlights".

The standard on display was awful. Bloody hell.

I am so underwhelmed by this target, I can’t even be bothered to come up with a decent pun on his name.

„I believe in socialism because it seems more humanitarian, rather than every man for himself and 'I'm alright jack' and all those arsehole businessmen with all the loot. I made up my mind from viewing society from that angle. That's where I'm from and there's where I've made my decisions from. That's why I believe in socialism“

„Don't forget you're alive. 'Cause sometimes when you walk around the city and you're in a bad mood, you can think, hey, wait a minute, we're alive! We don't know what the next second will bring and what a fantastic thing this is. This can get easily forgotten in the routine of life, and that's something I'm trying to bring to my attention at all times. Don't forget you're alive. We're not dead, you know. This is the greatest thing.”

No puns, but an anagram of his name is "Salad Vixen"

Make of that what you will

I just watched a compilation of him nutmegging kids in the under 23's and I can't decide which video is less inspiring. Still, full marks to Aris for honesty.

Not surprised at this. How you gonna attract good players when you’re bottom of the league. Top brass have really messed up, transfer business should have been finished weeks ago.

I said this on the transfer thread but I went to look for some stats on him and literally there are none - barely played and not scored yet he is somehow classifed as a striker - he gets a harsh write-up on the Hammers website where even they declare he's been disappointing and its not worked out even when he's gone on loan - surely to god it'd been better to take a punt on a lower league striker on lower wages with more hunger than a Premier League bust.

I’d rather Will Swann got a chance, at least that way if he isn’t good enough it’s cost us nowt

Or Dale Taylor, he may be young but seems to know where the net is already.

The good news is that this signing isn't going to turn out to be a disappointment based on expectations!

Tails has tweeted that this guy is one of several options the clubs weighing up..

There's nothing concrete at the moment.
