Twitter seeming to think this is all but done.

Maybe the plan is that Tutu will be pushed further forward?

Article from a month back. Reading between the lines he wants to leave to raise his profile and get games for the USMNT. It says Besiktas were keen on a loan and a number of other clubs are interested.

I get the whole thing about filling the squad with right backs but they have been touting Gabriel for a move all summer, Tutu isn't our player and is only here on loan and then after that we have some really young lads who probably need a loan.

Sacrificing a winger for a full back? That sounds like Hughtonball Deluxe

    Blondi Pölzl.

„I believe in socialism because it seems more humanitarian, rather than every man for himself and 'I'm alright jack' and all those arsehole businessmen with all the loot. I made up my mind from viewing society from that angle. That's where I'm from and there's where I've made my decisions from. That's why I believe in socialism“

„Don't forget you're alive. 'Cause sometimes when you walk around the city and you're in a bad mood, you can think, hey, wait a minute, we're alive! We don't know what the next second will bring and what a fantastic thing this is. This can get easily forgotten in the routine of life, and that's something I'm trying to bring to my attention at all times. Don't forget you're alive. We're not dead, you know. This is the greatest thing.”

We had a couple of previews of it last season when Blackett made sub appearances as a ‘holding winger’

Double full back, one giving slightly more license than the other to cross the halfway line.

Seems to be something in this, which along with the signing of Osei-Tutu does suggest Jordan Gabriel is likely to be on his way if we manage to get a left back in. Bit harsh on Jordan as he's not really been given much of a chance, but thought he was found out a bit on Saturday, which when added to the fact he struggled to hold down a place in League 1 at Blackpool last season suggests he's not quite going to be at the level required. Don't know anything about this guy Cannon, but his background suggests he'd be somewhat of an upgrade. Just hope the finances involved don't result in us missing out on strengthening in the other areas we all know should be priorities.

This is a bit old (prior to his transfer to Portugal) but I've always enjoyed Cannon's proactive play - I think he has some upside left. One would hope CH would emulate this a little: "As FC Dallas under Luis González tactics is a team that always try to do an energetic high counter-press, Reggie Cannon plays a pivotal role in that task."

Is this a real player? Sounds like a new player regeneration in football manager when you get to 2034

There's probably a Ronnie Dagger somewhere too.

This interview from March suggests he might not get along too much with Lyle Taylor (although I'm sure Taylor's views are a million miles away from the average Texan's).

A deal is very close. Assuming international-clearance doesn't cause too much delay, it looks like we need him.

He's a decent player. That current US team is getting better and better as they learn to develop their players. It will be a good market to keep looking at.

He's really good. I'm pretty surprised that he may be on his way to us. Hopefully, we can persuade a few more of the young US lads to join.

We need players in and quick, the time for dithering is long gone. Three needed before Saturday, with their boots and shin pads on and ready to play
