Default Forest goals-top 3 adrenaline rushes

I would be interested to hear of the top 3 Forest goals you have seen live that gave you the most
    excitement
For me,it's always the dramatic late goal(when things look desperate).Hence,my top 3 are-
1.Martin O'Neill-1978 at QPR(a dramatic leveller in the FA Cup 5th Round to keep the treble dream
    alive).
    2.Dexter Blackstock-2009 v Bristol City(a crucial winner at 3-2 in a tense relegation battle).
3(Joint) Gareth Taylor-2004 v Bradford City(a late header to secure a 2-1 win in yet another
    relegation struggle).
3(Joint) Jack Lester-2002 v Leicester(a goal at the death to level things at 2-2),sparking chants
    of 'only one decent Lester'.
I guess anyone who saw the Ian Storey-Moore winner against Everton in 1967 would probably vote that
    as number one.
    Votes please.

As I was in the trent end that day,Storey Moore every time for me,probably Storey-Moore again against Derby at The Baseball Ground and for the pure emotion of Stuart Pearce Osborn again against Derby. I wonder why I get such satisfaction when we score against them.

I’m basing this on how close I felt to having a heart attack in the celebration
    1. Auxerre away Steve Stones goal - I was sat in the Auxerre end behind the goal and jumped all over every poor French fan within range whether they were ok with it or not.
    2. Seems like weird one this but Swansea away in the playoff when we got a goal back. Went completely mental as I was convinced we were going to win from that point
    3. Nigel Clough’s winner in the 3-2 win at Old Trafford in 85-86 just perfect end to a perfect day

    1. Trevor Francis, Forest v Malmo FF, 1979 European Cup Final (1-0)

    2. Stanley Victor Collymore, Manchester United v Forest 1994 (1-2)

    3. Julian Bennett, Forest v Yeovil Town, 2008 (3-2)

(Tried to pick some nobody else had)

„I believe in socialism because it seems more humanitarian, rather than every man for himself and 'I'm alright jack' and all those arsehole businessmen with all the loot. I made up my mind from viewing society from that angle. That's where I'm from and there's where I've made my decisions from. That's why I believe in socialism“

„Don't forget you're alive. 'Cause sometimes when you walk around the city and you're in a bad mood, you can think, hey, wait a minute, we're alive! We don't know what the next second will bring and what a fantastic thing this is. This can get easily forgotten in the routine of life, and that's something I'm trying to bring to my attention at all times. Don't forget you're alive. We're not dead, you know. This is the greatest thing.”

Bart-Williams v Reading in 98 to seal promotion. For the relief. Needed to win. Last home game of the season, Reading were going down I think, and we'd reached almost ninety minutes at 0-0.

Osborn away at Derby. Last minute, Pearce, Derby lad, they were overwhelming favourites, hadn't won at PP in ages...carnage.
Blackstock v Bristol City. We were hurtling back down to League 1 until Billy came in. This goal felt like the turning point - we were going to stay up.
Earnshaw v Blackpool. The first goal in the Play-off home leg loss. Atmosphere was probably the best i've experienced at the CG in the 15 years or so i've been going.

Trying to add some which haven't been included so far:

Going 2-0 up at Sheffield United in the playoff semi final.
Either the 2nd or 3rd goal at Peterborough in 1994
The Steve Stone equaliser at Millwall a couple of weeks before the above
Keane's header to win the League Cup semi at White Hart Lane, 1992

The Stone goal at Millwall was a thriller-I think Forest were down to 10 men making it even more exciting.

Again, trying to pick ones which others haven't (Otherwise Blackstock's would defo be in there)

    1. Pearce Vs Spurs in the FA cup. Watched it at home as a 12 year old lad and when he scored I ran out down the street, bouncing up and down shouting "Fucking YEEESSS!!!! Psycho!!! Psycho!!! Psycho!!!" at the top of my lungs, and sticking the jacks up to all the houses with rival fans & plastic Liverpool supporters. Stayed in that night though

    2. Collymore Vs Man Utd AUG 22ND 1994. What a way to announce our return to the Prem. Everyone had us down as no-hopers, and that rammed it so far back down there throat it was unreal.

    3. Collymore Vs Peteborough April 30th 1994. What I wouldn't give to feel the type of freedom that gave. It literally lit the touchpaper for 2 years of pure thrive, with my real life mimicking our rise.

    Mines pretty miserable:

    Cohen vs Ipswich
    Pinillos vs Derby
    Grabban vs Villa (5-5)

Colin Barret v Liverpool, European Cup

Jack Lester v Leicester to rescue a point (6+ mins of injury time?)

Storey-Moore v Arsenal - solo goal, running most of the length of the pitch

One for each decade I’ve been watching Forest.

Garry Birtles v Liverpool, First Division 29/9/79 - the winner against the enemy
Charlie George v Barcelona, European Super Cup 30/1/80 - is this really happening?
Bryan Roy v Malmö UEFA Cup 26/9/95 - relief as Roy scores the winner to take us through to the next round
Julian Bennett v Yeovil, League One 3/5/08 - that goal
Nelson Oliveira v Derby, Championship 6/11/15 - winner against the Sheep on a Friday night
Sammy Ameobi v Leeds, Championship 8/2/20 - the high watermark of the last decade.

THE TRUTH IS THERE AND WITH IT I GO TO THE END OF THE WORLD .

Live, would probably be Lester v Leicester, Earnie at Pride Park and top is Benny at PP.

But the most mental i have ever gone at a Forest goal was in an internet cafe in Sao Paulo when Dexter scored against Bristol City. The bloke in there thought I’d lost my mind

For me and this is going to be a sad list..........

    1) Radi Majewski ve West Brom (I thought that was gonna be our year
    2) Tysons goal vs City in the FA Cup, I was sat in the City end with my City supporting mate
    3) This one is really sad but the whole night was funny Wes Morgan vs Notts County in the league cup. It was a full stadium and the Notts fans were so up for it. People were leaving the ground and in fact me and my brothers bums had lifted off our seats than Wes did that!!!

Wes is one of my favourite Forest players of all time he was class for us.

Scot Gemmill's winner in the ZDS Cup final 3-2 against Southampton in like 1992 or something at the old Wembley. We'd been 2-0 up and cruising, let them back in it and Scotty won it with a flying volley

But actually my favourite forest goal, now I think about it, excluding all the obvious ones, is Lars Bohinen, Forest 3-1 Wimbledon, October 1994. Just watched on YouTube, what a cracker even now. The way Lars roars past Woan onto the pass.....

Des Walker v Luton Town in 92. Eight years in the making.

Pearce v Coventry LCSF in 1990. Just conceded, 1-1 late on end of the home leg. Looking like a bad result. Coventry fans making the noise. Always look better in off the bar.

I was sat in the Trent End for that that match, and loads had left, when Westley smashed that one in, loads of them somehow came steaming back in, the Stewards were waving them back!

We were upper trent end and I remember vividly everyone leaving, than the pennos were at the Trent End. It was a class night just because of the Notts fans who made it into a game that mattered just because they hate us

I wasnt going into it like a it was Derby - Forest game but I came out it like it was. Ive never seen the Notts fans celebrate so much and Lee Hughes played who is a nob it just had all the ingredients.
