My brother came to football late as his kids grew up. Among him, his kids, and mates of his that I know - they all live in Nottingham still - a good proportion seem to follow the Gooners rather than fading Forest.

This is one of the many issues that football needs to address following the ESL fiasco-the main question being
'why are a few clubs allowed to dominate at the expense of the others and to the detriment of the overall game'.
This should be resolved by regulation if necessary.
Totally agree. How the rich six are able to stock pile all the best youth players is nothing short of obscene and another massive way of distancing themselves. It’s disgusting. The ESL debacle just underlined what is already a stitch up. The irony of those Chelsea fans singing we saved football, was beyond a joke.

When you recall Chelsea at one point had something like 40-odd players out on loan, it shows you something has gone rather wrong with football.

„I believe in socialism because it seems more humanitarian, rather than every man for himself and 'I'm alright jack' and all those arsehole businessmen with all the loot. I made up my mind from viewing society from that angle. That's where I'm from and there's where I've made my decisions from. That's why I believe in socialism“

„Don't forget you're alive. 'Cause sometimes when you walk around the city and you're in a bad mood, you can think, hey, wait a minute, we're alive! We don't know what the next second will bring and what a fantastic thing this is. This can get easily forgotten in the routine of life, and that's something I'm trying to bring to my attention at all times. Don't forget you're alive. We're not dead, you know. This is the greatest thing.”

Watching Chelsea West Ham. Commentator - Chelsea were due to increase season ticket prices but after this weeks exploits have decided to freeze them

    What a tremendous gesture...

    I agree,a total farce.
I want to see the Sky/premier league money distributed fairly across all levels(including grass roots, women’s
    and schools football).
I find it disgusting that a community club like Bury were allowed to die whilst their near neighbours were
gorging themselves on false glory(i.e achieved by money).
UEFA also need telling that their competitions are a circus and embarrassment and need slimming down.
I feel this is the last chance for real football fans of all clubs(big or small) to stand up and say ENOUGH IS
    ENOUGH and demand REAL change.

Also ,EUFA need telling that their competitions are a circus and embarrassment and need slimming down.

Bit cocky, but I didn't notice the same sort of declaration when they were relegated.

I would have thought Hull would have been campaigning to get the season null and voided, as they so passionately wanted last season when they sought to benefit from a pandemic that has killed thousands to escape relegation.

Funny how they've changed their tune now that promotion is on the cards. Wankers.

Two of the super clubs currently playing out a 0-0. That doesn't happen very often.

A Super League Cup Final goal. Unlucky for Spurs when the year ends in one again.

Well, if that final is what we could expect from the ESL, I not surprised they binned it.

Milan keeper Gigio Donnarumma is likely to leave on a free in the summer. Milan have offered him 8m a year to stay, whilst Rubentus are chucking a contract worth 10m a year at the 22yr old.

...it's not hard to see why these teams can't make ends meet and need extra revenue whilst the players and their agents fill their boots.

Given that Boris might have thoughts on subjects, but is completely incapable of taking any decisions, I'm sure it's regular policy at No10 to just take decisions without consulting the PM. Otherwise, nothing would get done.

Although only indirectly related to the European Super League, I think many of the financial problems today stem from the decision by the grey suits to let home teams keep all the gate money. This instantly created a two- tier system, and I feel the game as a whole as been worse off for it.
