    Coventry 11/4
    Derby 4/1
    Huddersfield 11/2
    Birmingham 7/1
    Preston 66/1
    Blackburn 80/1

The current bottom three will go down. Coventry and Derby will be concerned, but I’d much rather be in their position than Rotherham’s.

It will be a low points total to survive this season.

THE TRUTH IS THERE AND WITH IT I GO TO THE END OF THE WORLD .

Forest not there? Safe? Might be worth putting a tenner on if greater than 80/1 to soften the blow if we do go down

The £300 I earned not getting in the play offs last season made it hurt less too

wednesday dropping will be realy bad for them as they still can't get rid of their highest earner jordan rhodes.

I reckon Derby might still get dragged in. They’re on a terrible run. My dad is a millers fan so it would be excellent to see them relegate the shaggers

Forest are 250/1 with William Hill.

How are Rotherham and Sheff Wed going to overtake Derby when their form is almost as bad?

The hope is that once teams get safe, have little to play for or rest for bigger games that those below them take points, while at the same time still want to prove a point against the "mighty" rams and Rooney. Don't kill the buzz.

When Derby go down again, again, we'll sing, we'll sing!

That form table is no good. It has no validity unless it starts after the Leeds game.

Wednesday to beat Swansea? Nah. I'd hoped they might have got something at QPR yesterday but they were soundly beaten. Would love to see them take it to their last match at Derby but expect them to be gone by then. Might even be us sending them down and saving Derby, imagine that!

We're not going down, no need to put money on us as protection.

For us to go down, assuming we got only one more win and two draws from our remaining 5 (1PPG for our remaining fixtures, ie relegation form) it would require:
    1) Rotherham would need to win 6 of their remaining 9 games and
    2) Coventry to win 4 of their remaining 6 and
    3) Derby to win 4 of their remaining 5 and
    4) Huddersfield to win 4 of their remaining 5 and
    5) Birmingham to win 3 of their remaining 5 and
    6) Blackburn to win 3 of their remaining 5 and
    7) Preston to win 2 of their remaining 5 and
Bristol City to win 2 of their remaining 5.

If any one of those things didn't happen, we would be safe.

Even if we lost every game until the end of the season we'd still probably survive.

Top marks for effort Sir. I now however feel less confident after reading that. If anyone can pull a near impossible cock up out of the bag, it's Forest.

Many will feel less confident because it was me that posted it after last seasons confidence check.

But doubling down: we're absolutely fine this season now. The club will have started next seasons preparations after the Cardiff match.

Personally think Rotherham need to beat Coventry in their game on Thursday otherwise they're done.

It'll be one of those two for me now, with Wycombe and Sheff Weds already gone.

Thought most the season that it's be Wycombe, Wendies + 1 from Rotherham, Brum, Udders, Cov & Derby

Despite their games in hand, I just don't think Rovrum have the quality to stay up. That 3-0 home defeat to Wycombe was a real blow, and their run of fixtures to catch up the games in hand is brutally cramped.

Yep, 49 points plus an extra point due to a far superior goal difference means you are wasting money if you bet on Forest to go down.

Aye. Here's the table since Dec 15th.......

Pretty much playoff form for the past 5 months, with 3 of the 5 defeats coming against top 4 sides.

We're only so low down in the table because of the massive mess Hughton inherited. Since he started shaping things properly we're an entirely different beast.

Very very good job done! He's not just turned results down, he's really changed the players' psychological approach. Imagine the confidence of a set of fragile lads anyway after the catastrophic implosion and then following up with 5 straight, limp defeats.

I'll rarely ever advocate the sacking of a manager but Sabri should have gone in the summer. Nothing personal, good season really, but nobody is recovering from THAT disaster. For him, and the players, they needed a fresh direction. Now PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE Mr Marinakis be patient and allow someone far more qualified than you to do his job properly. He's got a bloated squad to dismantle (with some quality) and rebuild with f*ck all money.
