    More chance of Eddie Yates.

    „I believe in socialism because it seems more humanitarian, rather than every man for himself and 'I'm alright jack' and all those arsehole businessmen with all the loot. I made up my mind from viewing society from that angle. That's where I'm from and there's where I've made my decisions from. That's why I believe in socialism“

    „Don't forget you're alive. 'Cause sometimes when you walk around the city and you're in a bad mood, you can think, hey, wait a minute, we're alive! We don't know what the next second will bring and what a fantastic thing this is. This can get easily forgotten in the routine of life, and that's something I'm trying to bring to my attention at all times. Don't forget you're alive. We're not dead, you know. This is the greatest thing.”

    From a Blackpool forum

    "They can shove £2 million up their backsides !! Yates work rate is worth £5 million alone. The fact he’s now scoring goals only increases that figure. He’s a young Paul Dickov / Jamie Vardy type player and under Critchley he’s only going to get better and better. If we can get promoted this season or next he’ll prove himself to be a £10 million pound striker."

    Typical fan nonsense. You don’t pay 5m for work rate alone for a start and 14 league one goals at 24yo doesn’t scream “10 million pound striker” to me.

    Of course they would accept 2m off the back of a covid black hole in finances. There’s not many league 1 players that move for more than that.

    We've already got a Yates who occupies the "headless chicken but hard working" niche.

    His record in the Championship is worrying, but I suppose he was much younger when he first played there and for a struggling Rotherham team.

    29 games and 1 goal.

    recall someone saying something similar about Ivan Toney.
    Bloody 'ell, it's a bit early to speculatingon Forest getting him.
    1 We are reknowned as a striker's graveyard;
    2 We don't yet know if we will be in the Championship next season;
    3 We don't know which recipient of parachute money will outbid any other club if he is actually any good;
    4 And if Brentford don't get promoted and if Ivan Toney is sold for a shed load of dosh to a Prem club, then with their record of developing strikers they might be in with a better shout than us.

    He sounds perfect for our free flowing attacking style.

    We should sign him, then get Brereton back and play 4-4-2 just so we can say we've got Ben and Jerry up front.

    Your palms are holding her neck and thumbs are at her ears regulating the speed of her head as she swallows and then sucks up your machinery. She is topping up your engine oil for the cross-country coming up. Your RPM is hitting a new high. To wait any longer would be to lose prime time... She picks up a Bugatti's momentum. You want her more at a Volkswagen's steady trot. Squeeze the maximum mileage out of your gallon of gas. But she's eating up the road with all cylinders blazing.
