Silas has got Adeka on toast so far.

    Good game, this.

„I believe in socialism because it seems more humanitarian, rather than every man for himself and 'I'm alright jack' and all those arsehole businessmen with all the loot. I made up my mind from viewing society from that angle. That's where I'm from and there's where I've made my decisions from. That's why I believe in socialism“

„Don't forget you're alive. 'Cause sometimes when you walk around the city and you're in a bad mood, you can think, hey, wait a minute, we're alive! We don't know what the next second will bring and what a fantastic thing this is. This can get easily forgotten in the routine of life, and that's something I'm trying to bring to my attention at all times. Don't forget you're alive. We're not dead, you know. This is the greatest thing.”

Completely, him and Coulibaly seem to have the defense sussed there. It is really end to end with almost every ball going forward to attack. It's been an edge of the seat game so far. I'd like to see Kostic to get into the game a bit more.

Been a fair bit of handbags too

It’s a typical Bundesliga match, lots of attacking play and real entertaining skill on show.

Camera keeps panning to Eintracht Sporting Director Fredi Bobic - a former VfB legend of course - in the Stands.

Rumours he’s off to Hertha in the Summer.

Have Hertha still got money to chuck at getting people in? They've been a basket case the past couple of years.

It's attacking play but the majority of the defending has been sublime too, some amazing last ditch tackles.

Dinos Mavropanos will be thankful for the VAR there.

Lost his man a bit for Kostic to score, but it’s ruled out for offside!

I had to wait for the replay to see that it appears Jovic's elbow was offside in the build up.

Wow, I lost my picture then for the goal and because it was from exactly the same place I thought it was a replay of the disallowed one when the picture returned

Not enjoying VAR after every single goal, it feels very Americanised. Not be long before they slap an advert in that break.

Good game that, the final score is 1-1, honours even and probably a fair result.

Stuttgart will be the happier i think, as with Freiburg getting hammered 0-3 at home by Leipzig., VfB are just s pint behind them with a much better goal difference.

Cliche aside a draw was probably a fair result there, fantastic play at both ends of the field. Stuttgart only really looked to be weathering the storm towards the end there.

    Leipzig
    Union Berlin
    Dortmund

Next for Eintracht. There aren't any easy games in the Bundesliga!

    Leipzig top now!

Hoffenheim at Home, Bayern away then Werder at Home up Next for Die Schwaben.

With TSV and Bremen below them in the table, Stuttgart will want to be sure they take some points from those two matches, given it will be difficult to get anything from the trip to München.

That said, the last time VfB played there, they pulled off ab improbable 3-1 win, although it has to be tempered with the knowledge that Bayern had wrapped up the Bundesliga title the previous week.

The reverse fixture saw a 3-1 Bayern win, but at times VfB matched them, and at 1-1, had a superb solo Tanguy Coulibaly goal ruled-out for a supposed foul on Manuel Neuer, by the VAR.

Bayern v Dortmund in 25 minutes anyway, that should be fun.

I'm sure Leipzig (ahem) Fans will be looking on at this game too.

I really can't see Dortmund getting anything, looking at them recently and Bayern know what's at stake if they lose.
