His first name is actually Karl, and he scored 6 times in 31 appearances last season.

And yes, I am enjoying my new job on the Recruitment Panel. Get him singed.

    Could be Hughton's Adebola.

Built like a brick shithouse heavyweight boxer if I remember rightly in our game at Wycombe last season.

We clearly looking for a big bastard up top.

Cardiff got James Collins to add to Kieffer Moore.

The one's doing the rounds seem to be.

    Charlie Wyke (Sunderland)
    Michael Smith (Rotherham)

Can't say I have seen him much but been told about Luton's young Elijah Adebayo who at a good age had a good first season in the Championship and looks a physical number 9 who can hold it up (hopefully link play) and offer aerial ability.

He'd be a decent battering ram option. I suppose this guy would theoretically just replace Taylor's goals (if Taylor does leave) on no doubt a cheaper wage, 5 years younger and is rumoured to have an active £500k release clause.

I'd hope a proper goal scorer comes in alongside him though.

I'm always worried about this type of signing.

Personally I don't see much scope in him. I think Battering Ram probably describes him best but he is quite poor in possession and a weakness is he doesn't hold on to the ball according to whoscored : https://www.whoscored.com/Players/13...w/Uche-Ikpeazu

But if we got rid of all our other periphery players we don't want and we added him as a 3rd choice CF I could take it. But I would prefer to see if we could identify a better all-round footballer even if we looking at a physical number 9 option.

If he's cheap then I think there's value in having an ox-strong 3rd choice man as Bryan says. From the brief highlights I've seen he looked like he can hold the ball up and is decent with his back to goal, but if the stats say otherwise it's worth paying attention to them.

I guess it's really down to who else is gonna be up front, and how Hoots views them in partnerships & employing various tactics. Adebola was no world beater, but he did a suitable job when needed. And he had a big cock too.

Are we sure this is a real player?

    He sounds like a Pokemon.

„I believe in socialism because it seems more humanitarian, rather than every man for himself and 'I'm alright jack' and all those arsehole businessmen with all the loot. I made up my mind from viewing society from that angle. That's where I'm from and there's where I've made my decisions from. That's why I believe in socialism“

„Don't forget you're alive. 'Cause sometimes when you walk around the city and you're in a bad mood, you can think, hey, wait a minute, we're alive! We don't know what the next second will bring and what a fantastic thing this is. This can get easily forgotten in the routine of life, and that's something I'm trying to bring to my attention at all times. Don't forget you're alive. We're not dead, you know. This is the greatest thing.”

A big bastard who doesn’t score. Hopefully he’s cheap and happy to play 15 mins a game if we’re chasing a goal and lumping it.

Surely he would play more under Warnock at Boro than here.

Take it with a pinch of salt but I would suggest a battering ram who doesn't score many goals who is 26 years old doesn't 'fit' the analytical approach we are adopting...

Ikpeazu a right lump who'll bully defenders but 6 from 31 is pathetic we've got cf on books with that strike rate & they won't top end of 6 figure fee for him?, have a day off!.
I'd sooner us sign sign someone like Diedhiou on free from Bristol c.
It's cf who'll score 15+ atleast we need, won't be easy but that's what we need.

Uche Ikpeazu sounds like an ancient Arabic demon named during an exorcism as being a possible possessor trapped inside its host.

I would take him if he can offload Taylor. He is a real handfull and will add something different.

I'm not worried up replacing Taylors goals up front. The one that is gonna be more difficult to replace is " OG "

Wouldn't read too much into the 6 goals from 31 games. He was playing for Wycombe - even a clinical striker wouldn't get many goals in that sort of team simply because he wouldn't have got half the chances to convert a team like Brentford will have created for him.

They still scored more than Forest last season, so not certain he'd get any more chances with us.
