I find the obsession with trying to make easy money amusing. And very american.

Ted Cruz agrees with AOC. Common sense might just prevail.

GameStop is the story of our time.

People dislike elites so cheer on individuals that have no broader plan to fight them.

It's a punch on the nose of the bad hedge fund. Like brexit or being a dick during lockdown etc, everyone gets to project their own fantasy solution on the endgame.

The instigators profit, but the followers get no gain at all except a sense of belonging.

Everything that follows leave people worse off and the elites more in control.

    EXACT SAME BENEFITS

Go and read her reply to his tweet.

As bitch-slapping put-downs go, it’s right up there.

„I believe in socialism because it seems more humanitarian, rather than every man for himself and 'I'm alright jack' and all those arsehole businessmen with all the loot. I made up my mind from viewing society from that angle. That's where I'm from and there's where I've made my decisions from. That's why I believe in socialism“

„Don't forget you're alive. 'Cause sometimes when you walk around the city and you're in a bad mood, you can think, hey, wait a minute, we're alive! We don't know what the next second will bring and what a fantastic thing this is. This can get easily forgotten in the routine of life, and that's something I'm trying to bring to my attention at all times. Don't forget you're alive. We're not dead, you know. This is the greatest thing.”

No idea what the back story is there, but that’s pretty childish from a senator/congresswoman or whatever she is.

Ol' Ted was inciting people to murder her not even a month ago. She was pretty respectful, considering.

Looks like those positions were only closed because the users were using margin to buy GME. It's not unreasonable for RH to close it therefore as it's their money that's being wagered...

Feels like I'm taking the side of big capital here so I'll just say I'm quite content to see Melvin fold and watch the world burn.

You know Trump would, I personally doubt AOC has anything other than utter contempt for the ex commander in cheat, though

It's weird how my twitter TL has been filled for a couple days now with tweets about two things I'd never heard of 48 hours ago; gamestop and robinhoodapp.

Just 2 consecutive tweets from just now that sums up the general mood.
