Personally don't think we need another CB unless someone is off and even then I'm not sure I'd want us to go for Shane Duffy but I suppose we can't complain if it's Hughton getting who he wants...

Depends if any Premier League clubs actually make an acceptable bid. If its just Burnley doing their best Mark Arthur impression again, he won't be going anywhere.

I'm not in the know at all but a mate of mine sent me a link from the Swindon game last wk with player ratings..there was one guy called Zeki Fryer who's write up said his position could be under threat from a possible signing from us and it was a defender.im not really tech savvy so I don't know how put the link on here but reading that and now this makes me think there could be summat in the story.i can only guess at names so Blackett or Hefele going ?

He was good under Hughton at Brighton, was their player of the season in 18/19, gradually dropped out of the team once Hughton left and reportedly hasn't had the best time on loan at Celtic although who knows with them, they seem to consider winning 2-1 a shit result.

Obviously a player Hughton trusts though.

Watched his 25 minute cameo in the old firm. He looks bereft of any confidence. My abiding memory of his performance was the simplest pass, misplaced to a Rangers player in his own box.

Looks a risky one to me given CB is the least of our problems.

That said Knockeart was Hughtons one pick here, he's looked a class above.

If Worralls got to go to reinforce the team, we still look well stocked, Id be inclined to give Mbe Soh a chance.

You would, I would, I suspect half the forum would but unfortunately (for us) we're not the one's making the decision and Hughton seems to have made his position pretty clear as to where Soh is in the pecking order and signing Duffy will simply reinforce that.

hes an absolute donkey. would be well p1ssed with this. I guess it would mean Worrall is off which is even more disappointing. this might be the final straw for me in watching forest for quite a while.
