29 year old, 6'4, ROI International CB currently on loan at Celtic from Brighton.

Personally don't think we need another CB unless someone is off and even then I'm not sure I'd want us to go for Shane Duffy but I suppose we can't complain if it's Hughton getting who he wants...

I'm not in the know at all but a mate of mine sent me a link from the Swindon game last wk with player ratings..there was one guy called Zeki Fryer who's write up said his position could be under threat from a possible signing from us and it was a defender.im not really tech savvy so I don't know how put the link on here but reading that and now this makes me think there could be summat in the story.i can only guess at names so Blackett or Hefele going ?

£10+ million for Worrall would generate enough cash to strengthen out wide and in the middle. Duffy would be a decent replacement.

Half decent pedigree, but by all accounts he's been awful at Celtic.

If Worralls got to go to reinforce the team, we still look well stocked, Id be inclined to give Mbe Soh a chance.

Watched his 25 minute cameo in the old firm. He looks bereft of any confidence. My abiding memory of his performance was the simplest pass, misplaced to a Rangers player in his own box.

Looks a risky one to me given CB is the least of our problems.

That said Knockeart was Hughtons one pick here, he's looked a class above.

Depends if any Premier League clubs actually make an acceptable bid. If its just Burnley doing their best Mark Arthur impression again, he won't be going anywhere.

He is not a donkey. Has been superb for Ireland in his international career, and at Brighton.

Clearly has a problem at present, could be confidence, could be something else.

If Hughton can get him playing again he would be an asset.

All the same I would hate to see Worrall leave us.
