    This confused me.

I thought figs had lost it recently, but CH played him and apart from one moment when he trod on the ball and was booked for handling it, he looked totally in command. As did McKenna.

So we were solid at the back.

    Everything is his fault, basically.
Remember when someone came up with the ridiculous theory that people didnt like lansbury because he was rich and good looking?

Well my theory is people hammer Yates because of his massive cock. Envy is a terrible thing

Yates was fine yesterday, as was Colback. I must have been watching a different game to most yesterday because I thought, prior to injury, Colback was everywhere and played a notably higher line which in turn dragged Yates up from his normal safe haven camped in our half.

I also don't buy into that being another Sabri performance, perhaps last season but not this one. Free scoring Blackburn were neutralised and Forest, 2nd half especially, created the better chances and were arguably worthy winners.

With Knockheart and Grosicki in the mix there's reason to cheerful there. Personally, I'd play Knockheart down the middle with Freeman with either Colback/Arter or Yates behind them. But that's me!

Feels good to have won a game. I hope heads aren't too sore!

only 2nd half , first half was awful from both teams , forest couldn't string 2 passes together. sammy was shit-good , lolley still looked rusty even if he did scored a fluke goal , freeman was hassled out of it in the first half but like sammy, improved in the 2nd , grabban is typical grabban of this season, never looked like scoring

I don't view Forest players with red tinted glasses nor with a mindset that whatever a player does he can do no right.

In a game where theres not much to talk about other than it being a good result for us and the new manager, a highlight was the camera pre game randomly zooming into Yates appendage, not once but twice.

The main task yesterday was not to lose, we did that in unspectacular fashion, theres not really much more that can be said and it shouldn't be picked apart like it has been doing.

When the conversation goes down a path that it doesnt need to go down, I like to see it return it to where it should be. Which was an impressive result and an impressive bulge, as for envy the only envy I have is not being at Ewood to witness it because the half dozen times I've been its mainly been 7s and 5s put past us.

Yates stood up to the task firm yesterday, trying to soften his impact is harsh.

What a great win, and the perfect away performance.

But in 2020, they really need to come up with a better way of us being able to watch the games. I can't handle ifollow anymore, not that I have much choice

Lets face it, there’s not much better in football than an away smash-and-grab with a last-Minute winner.

„I believe in socialism because it seems more humanitarian, rather than every man for himself and 'I'm alright jack' and all those arsehole businessmen with all the loot. I made up my mind from viewing society from that angle. That's where I'm from and there's where I've made my decisions from. That's why I believe in socialism“

„Don't forget you're alive. 'Cause sometimes when you walk around the city and you're in a bad mood, you can think, hey, wait a minute, we're alive! We don't know what the next second will bring and what a fantastic thing this is. This can get easily forgotten in the routine of life, and that's something I'm trying to bring to my attention at all times. Don't forget you're alive. We're not dead, you know. This is the greatest thing.”

With a smash and grab I always like to think the bus engines running in the car park and all the players just pile on post game, kit ajd boots still on as they make their escape with the 3 points.

You have to form an opinion, or steal one if you can't decide, and stick to it whatever happens.

Worrall will always be crap because of way he made Direby score that free kick.
Grabban is shite because he doesn't score every chance he gets.
Yates is a headless chicken with no redeeming features.

I could go on but should a 'shit' player actually do something good, just ignore it until you can find fault again.
    It's simple really.

Sometimes you have to raise this thing above fucking playground level to get to the jist. The spotlights on Yates, just like it is on any player who's a constant in a 7 game losing streak.

Problem comes when folk try & elevate him, he puts in a solid performance & the MOMs come out. MOM? was he fuck, but he was a part of the collective job we did yesterday, so if he gets into the next smash & grab mission away from home then thered be no complaints from me.

Sometimes if your championing who you perceive to be better players, you have to highlight the others weakness.

Simple for me, we need creativity at home & theres no place for the spare part players who excel when we dont have the ball, we're at home, lets have the ball for a change & find some passes. So Arter, Colback & Freeman would be the call.

Yates will play a part this season, I just dont think we should be setting our stall out with him. We've got better.

I've always thought Yates was a passenger in the side that has very little overall contribution way before I knew he had massive cock. I was way ahead of the curve but he can definitely fuck off now unless he intends to start battering opposition to death with it.

Knockheart can't really play centrally. He is the type of player you have to give them their head in the position the are best at and that is wide right or wide left where they can thrive.

That said he puts in a shift in matches and gets up and down the pitch to do his defensive stuff protecting his full back as well.

He is the sort of player who needs to be loved by the fans and his Manager. And when that happens he will run through brick walls to give his best for both.

He probably doesn't feel the love of the Fulham fans which is probably why they haven't seen the best of him.

Some of the things he can do with a football is truly magical but can be equally frustrating when in games things don't come off for him.

He is your typical Laurie Cunningham, Dennis Teuart, John Robertson, Tony Galvin, Peter Barnes, Gordon Hill type of players but he can also defend.

So I wouldn't ask him to be something he isn't by asking him to try and play down the middle

Conversely, his MOTM accolade is limited to yesterday's performance only and not how crap he's been or will be in the future.

I would be letting my three creative players Knockaert/Grosicki/Lolley/Freeman/Ameobi/Mighten have the freedom to switch and interchange positions throughout the game to pull the opposition defenders all over the shop

I enjoyed CH's post match interview.
I appreciate English wasn't Sabri's first language, and his English is in a different league to my poor French, but CH was more confident, more upbeat and the interview was on a different level compared to Sabri.
Mind you, we had just won, which would have helped lift CH's mood.
I am looking forward now to Tuesday evening.
Hopefully, yesterday's win will be a springboard for the team to overcome a team we have had difficulty beating in that Rotherham lot.

Edit: after posting I then had a look at the results v Rotherham... we have won 19, drawn 11 and lost only 7 times. Moral of the story: check your opinion against the fact before making a sweeping statement that is basically wrong !

Why don’t we just send him into the opponents dressing room butt naked 10 mins before kick off and again at half time. No need for a team talk. Got to be worth a few points over a season.

Spot on. I'm astounded by the calls for MOM as there were a few standouts including the entire back 4 and the game bypassed Yates for large parts of the game. Credit where it's due in that he was a cog in the wheel and he won his battles.

Their tactics would be out the window if we sent in naked our very own Omar William's
