    I don't know what the regulations are concerning where linesmen/women operate, but since it was decided that it would be on that side/half of the CG pitch I've long been surprised that none of the managers prior to SL noted the advantage, slight though it may be, of using that dugout potentially gives.

    People spend weeks telling us they don't care about style, that it's all about points.

    Manager comes in and starts setting about getting the basics right and starts grinding out points.

    People start telling us it's crap to watch and player 'X' is rubbish.
