Default Christopher William Gerard Hughton is no longer the manager.

    Great news!

Fantastic appointment. Hopefully the club gives him the backing he needs (in terms of control and funds) and he'll do a great job here.

    Welcome Mr. Hughton.

Let us hope you can repeat the job you’ve done twice before.

„I believe in socialism because it seems more humanitarian, rather than every man for himself and 'I'm alright jack' and all those arsehole businessmen with all the loot. I made up my mind from viewing society from that angle. That's where I'm from and there's where I've made my decisions from. That's why I believe in socialism“

„Don't forget you're alive. 'Cause sometimes when you walk around the city and you're in a bad mood, you can think, hey, wait a minute, we're alive! We don't know what the next second will bring and what a fantastic thing this is. This can get easily forgotten in the routine of life, and that's something I'm trying to bring to my attention at all times. Don't forget you're alive. We're not dead, you know. This is the greatest thing.”

Sorry -- so pleased with this I didn't manage to type his full name.
But I've wanted him here for a long time. He's a really good bloke, has an excellent record and will get the most out of the players we have.

Doesn't "appreciation thread" need to be added to the title to make it official?

Probably the best we could have got in terms of managers available with a proven track record in this division.

    We shall see.

(Does this mean Calderwood is coming back?)

If we back him with transfers, we may as well get the crowd back we have so many players!

    Ecstatic with this

He knows how to get out of this league.

Give him a quality winger and watch us fly!!!!!!

He'll want to bring in a couple of additions I'm sure. Can't imagine he'd have looked at the squad and be satisfied with our lack of quality options out wide or Freeman as the sole creative midfield player

Pearce to Freedman was about an hour. This was 28 minutes

By "relegation battle", do you mean 7th, 12th or 14th?

    Can he play left-back?
