    Default Jake Clarke-Salter

Peter O'Rourke reporting that we are wanting him on loan from Chelsea and Lampard is happy to sanction it.

I don't know a great deal about him other than being a defender and that he was on loan at Birmingham last season.

This must mean Worrall or Figs will be sold. Not sure how it this affects the McKenna situation or if we take both?

Looks like he's off to France:

I think he was probably our plan B in case the move for Scott McKenna fell through.

Will have been him or McKenna for the left-sided centrre-half spot so I imagine this won’t happen now. Encouraging that we are identifying multiple targets for each position though, and of the right sort of calibre too. He’s England u21 captain.

Him and McKenna seems like overkill to me

Would imagine it'd be one or the other

Another sign that Worral's likely going

Cash gone, Watson gone, Worrall likely to go......we seem to be tearing the whole foundation up & starting again. Sabri will be lucky to keep his job.

    Depends. It's a gamble certainly.

You could argue that last season the likes of Cash, Worrall and Watson formed part of a back line that often conceded late on to surrender points which cost us

Whereas now we've become much more adept at conceding early on as well.

    Progress......

Better to burn out than to fade away, as the great Neil Young would put it.

Bollox to Chelsea loans, on principle.

Let him dedicate a season to playing Crawley in the Football League Trophy.
