It might be if we sign him.

More chance of Agatha Christie, in the dressing room, with the rusty sponge.

How is signing proven players like Colback, Freeman, Taylor and Christie in any way, shape or form similar to the Montanier window?

I don't think anyone has complained, it's mainly posts of "more chance of ...." Than anything else.

Other than that people have discussed if he's good enough, and the general consensus seems to be he's better than what we have.

I do get the concern people have about the size of our squad to be fair. But I don't think we should choose not to sign a player just because we have two shit/broken ones in that position.

Only just seen this. There’s no denying he’d be a good replacement for Cash. Similar wingback type.

Don't know a lot about him as a player. If I can get past the fact he's an ex-sheep shagger, it's all good.

Forest and Derby have signed more of the other’s ex players and staff than any other two clubs in world football. Why change now.

He had a Twitter ding dong with their supporters, and got boo'd on return.

We'd be a lovely club for him to prove a point at.

    Please no.

Decidedly average. If we're not really upgrading we're just creating more deadwood for no apparent gain.

If Christie is average I wish we had a team of 11 average players.

Spent most of his career in and around the top 6 of the Championship with the likes of Derby, Middlesbrough and Fulham. Can't be that bad.

Decent player. If we bag Christie, Arter & a decent winger this window will go down as one of the better ones.

People wanted us to bring in proven quality players. Bringing in the likes of Christie and Arter (in addition to Colback, Taylor, Blackett and Freeman) would be doing exactly that.

Unfortunately though that how you run a club financially well. The saying should be if the cash is there and we don’t push our limits then get him. Forest have a lot of getting rid to do if possible. I’d keep Gabriel and get rid of Darikwa and Jenkinson.

I'm wondering if the reason behind Lamouchi playing Gabs, is because that's the plan.

News from their end suggests it's a loan. Perhaps Sabri has decided Gabriel isn't quite ready.

Makes sense - its a like for like really in terms of player type even if you debate the actual quality of the player. No problem with it.

Are the club (or Sabri) panicking? we seem to be frantically buying where we seem to have adequate numbers.

Perhaps I'm being misled by journalistic hype (or fan exuberance) and we're not really buying all these chaps after all.

I suppose someone will tell me when I wake up.
