He has the basic attributes needed from a midfielder in this league. However, he looks like he needs more gametime than we can allow him in our league position to get up to the required speed, and so CH's decision to try and get him out on loan looks to be a wise one.

It's foolish and nonsensical to write him off after one-and-a-half games with almost four months out with injury in between. Then again, it's only to be expected from some on here.

The fact a below average performance from a player is classed as a positive speaks volumes of how shite that performance was tidayr

When the majority on Team A are strugging in tug of war, a single stronger man in the same team is going to be pulled the same way.

I think he looked alright to be honest. Scoreline obviously doesn't back that up as it's all his fault. 2 games is more than enough time to write him off though.

I’m a bit confused. A player who nobody thought was anything more than dogshit, based on his CV and hasn’t played for months, comes back from injury, puts in a decent performance and folks are sticking the knife in to others who are saying he put in an alright performance?

    Ok then...

Yea I’ll stand corrected with this guy

On what I saw today he looks like he knows how to play football. First touch was good, passing range was good. Fairly physical

I'd hazard a guess that the best manager of the decade knew how to spot a player he wanted to sign.

To be fair my Mrs can't believe she gets into bed with me every night. She is truly blessed.

    You spelt „blind“ wrong Carlos.

„I believe in socialism because it seems more humanitarian, rather than every man for himself and 'I'm alright jack' and all those arsehole businessmen with all the loot. I made up my mind from viewing society from that angle. That's where I'm from and there's where I've made my decisions from. That's why I believe in socialism“

„Don't forget you're alive. 'Cause sometimes when you walk around the city and you're in a bad mood, you can think, hey, wait a minute, we're alive! We don't know what the next second will bring and what a fantastic thing this is. This can get easily forgotten in the routine of life, and that's something I'm trying to bring to my attention at all times. Don't forget you're alive. We're not dead, you know. This is the greatest thing.”

If he's not fully fit, if he's not ready to play, why demand he plays?

Thought he was miles off the pace and got nowhere near the Swansea midfielders. Hence why he was hooked half time then we suddenly moved up the pitch.

Same as the Barnsley game, looked off the pace.

That’s all we’ve got to go on at the minute. Hope he turns it around as we need soMe energy and vigour in midfield.

Obviously needs more minutes to get up to speed but I completely agree. Bachirou & Mbe Soh in midfield, yet for 45 minutes we didn't lay a glove on them. Not quite having that as a positive, tbh.

One had never played midfield before. One had barely played for us before. The whole midfield three probably had barely trained together. Given that basis it was a bad as I expected.

I thought he picked-up the pace pretty quickly this afternoon, and generally did ok.

Seems like he will be suited to Hughton's quick passing style

Early days, still got it to prove, but he's clearly the most nimble we have in the position.

Well it was said that Bach could do things with his feet that most people couldn't with their hands

    He did well today.
