    Default Mathieu Peybernes

    Any good?

Is Almeria where we sold Appjah to? Maybe a deal to be done over payments?

Your palms are holding her neck and thumbs are at her ears regulating the speed of her head as she swallows and then sucks up your machinery. She is topping up your engine oil for the cross-country coming up. Your RPM is hitting a new high. To wait any longer would be to lose prime time... She picks up a Bugatti's momentum. You want her more at a Volkswagen's steady trot. Squeeze the maximum mileage out of your gallon of gas. But she's eating up the road with all cylinders blazing.

Bit of a weird one. Couldn't play for Segunda team Almeria so was loaned to Lugo ?

    MARCA : https://www.marca.com/futbol/getafe/...7198b45f6.html

Lhe guidelines for Mathieu Peybernes to end up playing for Getafe are clear. And everything seemed to be on the right course until this week. The French will only arrive at the Coliseum when there is a vacancy in the Azulona squad behind. This week was key for Chema's march to SD Huesca, but finally everything has taken longer than normal, making another team enter the scene that is seriously betting on Peybernes. This is Nottingham Forest, a team that also has an unbeatable relationship with Turki Al-Sheikh, owner of UD Almería and who would have a better position in that regard than the team led by Ángel Torres. The trick in favor of Madrid is that the French are more seduced by the possibility of playing under Bordalás, with whom he considers that he will grow as a player and make a qualitative leap.Another of the teams in Great Britain that has been interested in Peybernes is Swansea, which follows the player from afar and is also pressing, even from a distance, to get the player who, if everything runs its course, should be a blue player. next campaign.Almeria, crazy to sellThe Andalusian team wants to sell the player, with whom it does not have, to also lower costs in its squad after not achieving promotion. The player's clause is three million euros, although an assignment with a purchase option of approximately one million euros could satisfy all parties

Chema on the move to Huesca. I kept check on him there and he did seem to often be on the bench.

Reads as though this chap is likely on his way to Getafe then, but we're hoping to steal in, as we seem to have a good relationship with the Almeria owner?

They can send Dawin Nunez to us if they like

I know he won Lugo's player of the season but he must've impressed last season to get that link considering Getafe finished 8th in La Liga.

I think it's saying that Getafe practically have a deal done for him they're just waiting for Chema to go to Huesca. We've just come in at the last minute because of the delay.

Of course. After reading MARCA article like that I should have realised.

Few bits seemingly like maybe we have now jumped ahead of Getafe?

From his highlights video, he looks to enjoy defending and going up 1-on-1 against someone. Seems to read the game well, lots of early movements to move to where the ball is going, looks to have a decent turn of pace too (which would be helpful to enable us to press higher - pin teams in). He also looks to be comfortable with the ball at his feet. After the break, Toby seemed to really struggle with the football, like it was a hot potato, and it seems like teams clicked on to this and really forced play to Toby and capitalised from it. Peybernes seems to be comfortable with the switch, which is something else we desperately need.

    Just a shame he's not left-footed.

A French defender? Hopefully he won't continue our defence's trend of surrendering the lead next season.

Towards the end of the season they did seem pre 'occupied'.

I thought the same, apparently being reported in Spain.

The Spanish article is past tense. It's just the clickbait NEP trying to reel you in.

The French always surrender, 1870, almost in 1914 and again in 1940, Indo-China 1954
