I think the thing is with Bong, is that Hughton and the ownership know that no fucker is going to want him and his contract. And Hughton likely feels he is adequate cover.

On the flip side Ian had interest and if he is second choice it is easier to move him on.

Hopefully he comes back in the summer, we can get rid of the likes of Bong and he can fight it out for a starting spot.

Ioannou and Benalouane only. Siampanis was on loan from us, so technically we offloaded him to Aris, not you.

You tried to offload Clough to a couple of Greek clubs, none of which took the bait, they're not that stupid. Ansarifard, no, you sold him to a Qatari team for good money (in the area of 1,5m reportedly). Guerrero was supposedly a target of Aris, but they couldn't afford him and/or the player was not really keen and/or you were not particularly keen on letting him go.

In any case, judging how happy they are with Ansarifard (and, hopefully, with Ioannou), you'll probably be able to offload more in the future.
