Mine definetly is. He even looks like he might be one of Johnson's illigitimate children.

    I'm surprised at this.

I didn't even have to look-up her name because I've noticed her doing all kinds of things. And she definitely speaks in parliament.

She's definitely a boot-licker too, so I have no reason to defend her.

More top trolling form Boris in a speech to the UN today, in which he claims that "selfish countries have taken mistaken comfort from other countries with higher death tolls."

"Every day people were openly encouraged to study a grisly reverse Olympic league table, and to take morbid and totally mistaken comfort in the greater suffering of others."

It was Boris and his government who made frequent comparisons with other countries, in their daily press briefings and in their paperwork. That is, until the UK's death toll became the highest in Europe and they swiftly changed tack.

He went on to complain that countries are putting barriers up against one another. This from the Brexit PM trying to break international laws he signed off on...

In other news, Man from Vatican wears funny hat.

„I believe in socialism because it seems more humanitarian, rather than every man for himself and 'I'm alright jack' and all those arsehole businessmen with all the loot. I made up my mind from viewing society from that angle. That's where I'm from and there's where I've made my decisions from. That's why I believe in socialism“

„Don't forget you're alive. 'Cause sometimes when you walk around the city and you're in a bad mood, you can think, hey, wait a minute, we're alive! We don't know what the next second will bring and what a fantastic thing this is. This can get easily forgotten in the routine of life, and that's something I'm trying to bring to my attention at all times. Don't forget you're alive. We're not dead, you know. This is the greatest thing.”

Is that for just one week though ?

If some counties are having 2 week holidays that don't coincide with others, then either some will have to change dates or the lockdown would have to be for three weeks.

They could probably do it locally. LEAs which have 2 week half term lock down in the corresponding area for those 2 weeks. Those which don't, do for that week and either the week before or after.

Though actually with cases not rising anywhere near as quickly as Vallance's doom prediction, and indeed today is markedly down on previous (interesting to see if that trend continues) is it really necessary?

You were always going to get a spike when the schools and universities went back. You can see that by how viruses usually spread around there. If one kid gets a chucking bug they will usually all get it.

They seem to be already clamping down more on the hotspots. Not sure why London has escaped so far.

Households are to be banned from mixing in pubs, and Andy Burnham wants to impose an earlier curfew on them than 10pm...

Burnham didn't say He wanted an earlier curfew.

He said there should be a time limit on booze being sold in shops, which should be ealier than the curfew.

    It's quite different.

Probably because we’ve all had it in London already by cramming into tube carriages every day while it was raging back in the Spring...

Boris Johnson is due to hold a press conference tomorrow with Prof Chris Whitty, the government’s chief medical adviser, and Sir Patrick Vallance, its chief scientific adviser, No 10 has just announced.
