People just want to get out and do something normal too. I don't blame them, even if Primark wouldn't be my first choice.

I'm not talking about the reopening, I am talking about the sneering that will be going on. "Hey everyone, look at these stupid poor people that are desperate to shop!"

NHS England tries to update its app to track users‘ locations; Apple and Google say „Nope“!

„I believe in socialism because it seems more humanitarian, rather than every man for himself and 'I'm alright jack' and all those arsehole businessmen with all the loot. I made up my mind from viewing society from that angle. That's where I'm from and there's where I've made my decisions from. That's why I believe in socialism“

„Don't forget you're alive. 'Cause sometimes when you walk around the city and you're in a bad mood, you can think, hey, wait a minute, we're alive! We don't know what the next second will bring and what a fantastic thing this is. This can get easily forgotten in the routine of life, and that's something I'm trying to bring to my attention at all times. Don't forget you're alive. We're not dead, you know. This is the greatest thing.”

Ironic that it's in Google's rules, considering they do it all the fucking time.

I haven't felt the urge to go shopping for about fifteen years. But I want to go this week. Even if I only come home with a smoothie.

I gain ultimate snob points by visiting a library in my lunch time. There were no cameras or press to cover my arrival or departure. I did manage the obligatory sneer at the pondlife congregating outside the Cricketers in Beeston, anyone would think they had taken the day off specifically to sit in their beer garden/car park boozing and shouting.

I’m off to the gym in five minutes.
Not sure if there will be a queue, but they are limiting the numbers with a pre-booked time slots method.
Don’t have to pass any pubs or Primark on the way there, so I won’t be able to cram any sneering in.

Today is a joyous day, but we must remain cautious, expert warns.

Image a joyous day is being able to walk into Primark.

Today passed like most days for me, plastering walls. I heard there was a queue for the local barbers that would not have looked out of place outside Rock City on a Saturday night and town was ‘rammed’ apparently. But I saw none of it.

I have just driven back from work and it was nice to see people out enjoying a few drinks outside. Just seeing people doing stuff was great.

Drove past today and there were a couple of, errr what's the opposite of MILF's? With their kids outside. I'll be popping out for a drink or two at a few of the locals soon enough but saw no need to drink on a Monday lunchtime.

The ‘Monday Club’ is still a thing here. Never got my head around it, getting wasted the first day of the week.

I think it is generally alcoholics or people trying too hard to be laaads out on a Monday.

It’s a slippery slope. A few years back I used to go for a pint after work and the odd time I’d bump into the ‘Monday club’. One of them would say “what you drinking” and one would lead to another. Before you knew it you’d be staggering about still in your work clothes by 9pm trying to put The Stone Roses on the jukebox and texting your missus with some excuse.
