    Default The CoronaVirus MEGA Thread

Well it seems to be in the news a bit.

We're all going to die, probably, if you believe the hysteria.

    Meanwhile...

By "relegation battle", do you mean 7th, 12th or 14th?

I can remember when you could get Corona in glass bottles from the Chippy or the Corner Shop.

I think 'odd' is a good thing. Oddness shows originality, uniqueness and a desire to be different from the masses. Oddness is, maybe, only deemed 'odd' by the majority who are considered less odd but only by their own blinkered observations and understanding. Oddness should never be criticised but be encouraged to nurture, develop individualism and to explore the mind rather than conform to expectation and 'normality'. Many of the world's greatest works of art and prose were born from those minds many considered to be 'odd'.

Just got back from the English Class we run in the village and none of the French are greeting each other with kisses anymore. Must be the first time in their history, or at least since Spanish Flu.

Your palms are holding her neck and thumbs are at her ears regulating the speed of her head as she swallows and then sucks up your machinery. She is topping up your engine oil for the cross-country coming up. Your RPM is hitting a new high. To wait any longer would be to lose prime time... She picks up a Bugatti's momentum. You want her more at a Volkswagen's steady trot. Squeeze the maximum mileage out of your gallon of gas. But she's eating up the road with all cylinders blazing.

„I believe in socialism because it seems more humanitarian, rather than every man for himself and 'I'm alright jack' and all those arsehole businessmen with all the loot. I made up my mind from viewing society from that angle. That's where I'm from and there's where I've made my decisions from. That's why I believe in socialism“

„Don't forget you're alive. 'Cause sometimes when you walk around the city and you're in a bad mood, you can think, hey, wait a minute, we're alive! We don't know what the next second will bring and what a fantastic thing this is. This can get easily forgotten in the routine of life, and that's something I'm trying to bring to my attention at all times. Don't forget you're alive. We're not dead, you know. This is the greatest thing.”

I’m no Rugby fan I think it’s a load public schoolboy nonsense but apparently some England player will miss this weekends 6 nations game against Wales because he’s self isolating because he’s been to Hong Kong although he’s fine & not showing any symptoms

Also the stupid **** is training with his club team

Who to believe... the World Health Organisation or some fans on a football forum.

If we'd have got Brexit sorted sooner it wouldn't ever have reached here.
