Doubt it, if you look at his Newcastle performances, he's rather okay, just Brucey's boring footy keeping him out. But between Bruce and him, I think he stands a better chance of being there longer.

I'm getting tired of 'Lump it to Ameobi' tactic. An attacking pacy front 3 of Atsu, mighten and Taylor would be interesting.

    If only Taylor was pacy.

Apparently this is the one that Hughton wants and we are working on for him. Watford in the hunt too, I would have made them favourites but Hughtons standing could swing that.

He'd give us some vital haircut balance in attack.

Its not even a matter of balancing we only have 3 wingers at this stage which is criminal. The absolute basics of football is 2 players for each position its not a hard concept I serioulsy dont understand how Forest always seem to leave themselves short

I agree Rav's just frustrating that we couldnt get it sorted before lets see what happens. I hope we get Atsu on loan or dosent matter if its a cheaper option we just need another body that plays wing in case we get injuries.

SICK OF THE CLUBS SCATTERGUN AND VOLUME APPROACH TO TRANSFERS!

    at the same time

WHY HAVEN'T WE SIGNED AT LEAST 2 WINGERS AND A ATTACKING MIDFIELDER YET!

They arent mutually exclusive Gandalf, for example we need a backup winger so thats not scattergun thats just being competent. However if we sign another left back than that is scattergun.

Are you at least happy with how many defenders we have?

I really hope we can get this one done. Genuine pace, good age and lots of Premier League experience, the ability to get us up the pitch quickly. He ticks a lot of boxes and Newcastle are willing to let him go.

Interesting that Fulham are also supposedly interested in Atsu.

If that's true then they are probably not looking to keep Knockheart.

Atsu himself probably wants to continue to play in the PL so Forest probably ain't the players choice but Bruce knows Atsu would be guaranteed "game time " under CH so I would imagine they would lean towards sending here if they want him out on loan.

So I think there is a decent chance that one of those players could end up at Forest.

If Watford want him, they will get him. We can't compete with what they can offer money wise.

Knockaert over Atsu for me, more end product. Atsu is just an older Mighten, id rather let our lad develop as the quick option out wide.

May be my misunderstanding - but thought that PL clubs can’t do business except with lower league clubs.
Hence Atsu off limits to Fulham?
