I am clearly doing something wrong, as I can’t get within ten seconds of that time.

    More practice needed, obviously.

„I believe in socialism because it seems more humanitarian, rather than every man for himself and 'I'm alright jack' and all those arsehole businessmen with all the loot. I made up my mind from viewing society from that angle. That's where I'm from and there's where I've made my decisions from. That's why I believe in socialism“

„Don't forget you're alive. 'Cause sometimes when you walk around the city and you're in a bad mood, you can think, hey, wait a minute, we're alive! We don't know what the next second will bring and what a fantastic thing this is. This can get easily forgotten in the routine of life, and that's something I'm trying to bring to my attention at all times. Don't forget you're alive. We're not dead, you know. This is the greatest thing.”

Watch Harvey's lap. Other than missing a couple of apexes and not getting on the gas earlier, its pretty much my laps.

Do you follow the suggested gear flashing thing, if it's on? If so you can get away with breaking a lot later than it flashes, if at all and not going down to that gear, especially in auto transmission. I turned my TC and ABS down at least one and that shaved a few hundredths off

Harveys car seemed to go a lot quicker, I double checked and I am definitely using the same one. Maybe when I am playing it appears slower, but particularly on the straights Harveys seemed much faster.

My best is currently 2m14s by the way.

Corner exits can have a big effect on straight speed, what do you get when going over the line? Should be 130 ish.

I know I'm meant to be posting the next challenge but my shifts have changed this week due to ofsted so doubt I'll be playing it. I'll leave it up to you lot whether someone wants to pick one or you want to keep going on this one?

Actually, I'll do it but just got home, let me have dinner and I'll put something up.

His is ridiculous, and didn't cost him a thing because he races for a team.

He did a video for Gran Turismo which detailed his old rig which was hilarious. IKEA chair and kitchen cabinet

    Same

Even with a pad he'd beat us, some guys get to the finals with a pad which blows my mind.

    Sorry for the late reply

Anyway, let's have an LTLF track day.

    Track: Brands Hatch Indy

It's only a minute lap but yeah, stuck it on and went round for a bit. The fastest was only about lap 5 or 6.

My one and only blast. Hate Brands Hatch, and in a front wheel drive car meant I spent more time understeering then actually going the way I want

Yeah, you've got to sort out weight transfer and keep it balanced.

It's why I picked it, making a slower car go fast is a proper challenge.

I just hate Brands Hatch, it's so typically British.

    Shit.

I love Laguna Seca which is the track Brands Hatch wants to be

Laguna Seca being one of the only tracks I've actually been to, and it's incredible.

I was going to do it there but thought a few of the newer players might not have it unlocked.

Love the place, so many great biking moments there and definitely one of the tracks I want to visit and ride.

Didn't get the chance to have a shot at it last night, but I am leaving work early today so will be having a good few laps then.
