I went on last night and had a few goes but I just can't do that right handed in the first section.Cool. I dont like the fact I'm only 0.2 in front. You going to have s few more goes? Would also be interesting to see what your pro mate could do, if that's possible.

Yeah, unfortunately it is - like Forza is Xbox only, GT is PlayStation only.
It’s another case of a specific-platform only title as an incentive to buy that hardware (which is a pity, of course).

Just do the licences, I think they'll help and bump you up a few levels relatively quickly.
Talking of licences we can compare those time as well, if people are interested?
We need to get Rich1977 back on too, I know he played(s) it.

„Arcade Mode“ races will also quickly boost up your levels and get you oodles of money, as well.

My best splits make my time a fair bit lower but like you it's hard syncing them together however, theres certainly some splits that going faster hurts your next split.Had a blast. Can't seem to get the perfect lap.

Top tips:
The cones round the track are there for a reason. Brake on double cones, single cones are the entry (turn in), apex and exit line.
At first just brake in a straight line, off brake then turn in, then accelerate as/if the corner opens up. Dont try to brake turn, then his gas, smoothly does it, especially at first.
Use the right stick as your throttle and brake, that way you have to roll off the throttle to apply brakes, you can vary brake and throttle inputs greater, well I find it easier anyway.

Nice one, cheers. It's the braking that's my biggest issue. I am down to 2.19 now, I am steadily improving.
I presume that everyone has taken all assists off?

I haven't changed any settings so it's on whatever it's on as standard, assume ABS and I know TC is on. Hit reset on your car settings and just make sure you're on hard tyres, I left the rest as they were.
Like I said in other thread, I've barely played the game.
Nice one. I'm still yet to link up all my best splits but the harder I push the further away I get.Used Andy's tips above and got my time down.
Screwed up a few but absolutely nailed it at the end. Think that's going to be my best time tbh.
Also, make sure your ghost car is on, always helps keep your lines or see where you could brake later etc.
