    Default Neil Shipperley

This Undr The Cosh series is brilliant. For anyone that's not watched any I highly recommend them. Some are already familiar with the Paul McKenna and Mark Crossely ones.

This Neil Shipperley one is another good one with Forest interest. I was an apprentice at the time he was with us and I never knew he received such a hammering from our supporters, maybe I was just in my own little world.

A block regulars of the time probably won't like what he has say.

At what point was the Forest bit?

Edit: Doesn't matter, it is about 1hr in. He really doesn't like us does he.

I don't remember him getting that much abuse, I just remember that whole season being deflating. Maybe he is just hyper sensitive.

Also, how the hell is he only 44, he looks at least half of that on top again.

He was terrible for us mind! Can't remember a striker that played so regularly and missed so many one on one's. Really shocking player for us. Respectable elsewhere but so poor in a red shirt.

He seemed to eat his way down the leagues.

Fucking wank & a fat tosser. Prime example of the type of player which started our whole decline off.

As he says, he'd decided he'd had enough after a few weeks. Piss weak.

Grabban will show the fat twat how it's done, and we can put him & all the shit which followed behind us.

The story at the time was that the Ice Arena was built so he'd have enough room to turn.

That bloke is an absolute fuck nugget. I believe he and Chris Brown the Geordie lad had a right ding dong a few weeks after.

You could see Browny thought he was an absolute twat during the interview and was pushing the questions to try and highlight what a bellend he is.

Brilliant series though, there have been some corkers and nearly every one is really good. My personal favourites are Mark Crossley and Dean Windass.

Compared to Dougie, who was the other forward, Shipperly did get a lot of shit. All of it justified.

    EXACT SAME BENEFITS

Dougie missed plenty of one on ones, cost us a good few points with his inept finishing.

Both Shiperly & Freedman were a bind on the club.

THe "welcome home" msg for Freedman's return as manager really showed how out of touch Fazza was. Fucking priceless.

Replacing Van Hooijdonk and Campbell with Shipperley and Freedman was a low point. We bought Palace's front line and surprisingly they were just as shit for us.

Shipperley was crap with us and in the interview comes across as a typical fat lard arse mouthy Larndener.
Never liked him back in the day; don't like him now.
And I don't think he was funny in the interview - just mouthy and thick.

If you put Neil Shipperley into google images it is the best advert for maintaining a healthy lifestyle when you enter middle age that you will ever see.

Leon knight claimed they edited it to set him up and to make him look daft... think he did that well enough himself without any editing.

Spot on. Absolutely zero editing requirement to establish Leon Knight is a monumental bellend from an interview.

The one goal he scored was the 3rd in a 1-3 win.

    Freedman was our top scorer.
