Facundo sounds like a bowel disease.

He told the Newcastle Evening Chronicle "When I got here [Newcastle] I struggled to adapt ... it is a very physical league."

    Sound right up our street!

Right up your street Alf. Exhibit A in your 'foreigners can't cut it' rhetoric. It's from the horses mouth, bang to rights.

Don't know anything about the player but if he can't take a kick or two (a lot of foreigners can) then he won't do well.

If that's what he thought of the football I'd love to hear his opinion on a night out in Newcastle.

    Now you're getting it

Although tbf, he's had a year in the game before, so if he does come at least he'll be more prepared for it.

Other than some random twitter posting, is there an actual valid source linking him with us?

    Default Facundo Ferreyra

Been linked before, I had a search but I couldn't find an existing thread for him...

Being linked by a South American journo with a lot of followers.

30 year old, Argentine striker, free agent after leaving Celta Vigo.

    Looks promising based on this:

    Loan to Newcastle United
On 3 August 2014, Newcastle United signed Ferreyra on a season-long loan.[17] The deal included a £6 million option to buy at the end of the season.[18] However, Ferreyra struggled with the physical demands of English football, stating in an interview in the Newcastle Evening Chronicle "When I got here [Newcastle] I struggled to adapt ... it is a very physical league."[19] On 29 May 2015 it was announced that Newcastle would not take up the option to buy Ferreyra and he would return to Shakhtar Donetsk without having played a single minute of first team football for Newcastle

Maybe he meant living in Newcastle was physically demanding lol

Found the original mention of him coming here, back in summer 2019, definitely long before any of our current recruitment staff were at the club:

Bump. Mods please merge the thread I just started with this one. The search didn't find this one when I had a look before starting mine.

Problem is he needs to get injured before he's eligible to play for Forest

If there's one place you wanna go to revive your goalscoring career it's Hughton's Forest!

This sentence is missing the word 'against'
