Some impressive names on his C.V, without doing anything of note outside Shaktar. His only foray into English football saw him bitch about how physical it was, so its only natural we earmark him for the Championship.

Get him alongside Carvalho and we are fucking FLYING mate!

I'm just impressed with the club backing Murphy so much that they were looking at this player back in 2019 well before Murphs arrived. We must have had Murphs in mind for AGES!

    Merged!

More chance of a pint at the Ferret and Firkin.

He was linked with us precisely when you were, in the summer of 2019. He was reportedly the first choice of our manager.

    He's obviously way cheaper now.

He seems to have suffered injuries every few weeks since he last scored regularly in 2018. One goal per season in the league since then.

I'm sold. This is the one that will save Hughton's job. Go and get him, Fawaz!

I don't know what's more depressing, that fact that we might actually be after this chap, or that we're deemed a club that might actually take someone like him by his agent.

We might as well have convinced 40 year old Glenn Murray to stick around for another year

Sounds crap and injury prone. I'd rather we didn't bother.

At least this one has a history of scoring goals even if it were more than 5 years ago but least he has a history of scoring unlike other duds we have signed.

He probs won't score here ether, apparently Hughton can get the best out of players, that's why he turned grabban from scoring 20 goal poacher into a non scoring defensive forward

Are they just going through my posts on here for their transfer targets?

Dane if you’re reading this HMU for consultancy. Nominal fees.

I’m glad we’re back to prioritising doing dodgy agents a favour over what’s best for Nottingham Forest. We might as well sack Dane now and save him the headache of dealing with shit like this for a few years.

Need to merge this with our New Midfielder from Paraguay, call it Brian Ferry.

I wouldn't bother addressing it to Dane... Ioannis maybe.

This one (if true) certainly feels more Vrentzos to me. Hopefully it's just his agent trying to drum up interest, really don't want us to start mindlessly hoovering up this kind of player again.

Well considering Ferreyra was linked to us before Brass, Murphy, Syrianos and Hughton even worked for us it'd be a stretch to say one of them recommended him but perhaps they've just found an old laptop with a shortlist on it and gone from there.

Even the tweet from the Spanish language journo says an agreement is not close.

I wouldn’t be too concerned just yet.

in his last spell at newcastle , he was struggling to adapt to the physical nature of english football , maybe he's stronger now he's older. can't be any worse than what we have now.

As a side note, this criticism comes up regular & its bollocks. The two managers in question played very similar football going forward, Grabban had a purple patch under Lamouchi, then started missing sitters & doesnt appear to have recovered mentally.
