Released by Villa, worth a Shout on a Free surely?
I'd take him if he's in reasonable wages.
More chance of Uncle Albert
Sooner have Albert Tatlock
Thought he looked really ineffective in the games I saw him play this season.
Hard to say what his wage demands would be, no one is going to paying the wages he was on at Villa (as I am sure he is aware) but I'd imagine he'd have no shortage of offers.
Of the wingers we've been linked with so far I'd still rather have Grosicki, but I wouldn't complain if signed him (provided his wages are reasonable of course). Decent player in this league IMO.
Nah.
„I believe in socialism because it seems more humanitarian, rather than every man for himself and 'I'm alright jack' and all those arsehole businessmen with all the loot. I made up my mind from viewing society from that angle. That's where I'm from and there's where I've made my decisions from. That's why I believe in socialism“
„Don't forget you're alive. 'Cause sometimes when you walk around the city and you're in a bad mood, you can think, hey, wait a minute, we're alive! We don't know what the next second will bring and what a fantastic thing this is. This can get easily forgotten in the routine of life, and that's something I'm trying to bring to my attention at all times. Don't forget you're alive. We're not dead, you know. This is the greatest thing.”

Adomah and Grosicki.
More chance of Gustavo Almadovar
Uninspiring.
His stats dont really stack up to Matty Cash, a player who spent most of the season on his arse.
We need better, wake me up when Jarrod Bowens on our radar.
Looked shit in the Play of final, its a No from me
thought they would be open for offers on kodija aswell, worth a punt?
9 goals in 41 games this season. 1 goal in 19 games last season. £35k per week before promotion bonuses.
He's hardly set the world alight at Villa outside of his first season there. Even if we could afford him he'd be a huge waste of money and wouldn't really improve us all that much.
We've already got one player who looks like Dave Benson-Phillips, we don't need another
More exasperation than sarcasm, I don't get why we'd consider accumulating free transfers, other folks cast offs, that don't appear to do anything better than we have.
Dont get why folk get involved in the clubs finances, Im pretty sure a plan of frugal spending with Martin Oneill wont get us up next season.

he was hardly played and when he did was a sub, wouldn't look too much into stats at villa.
remember him at bristol was one of the best in this league.
hourihane maybe, scott hogan was very good. with villa and FFP hanging over there heads they might just off load a few players
I dont care about his wages, Im interested in his size, pace & physicality as alone strikert or a foil for Grabban. "Wont improve us" is a brave shout given we only have Daryl Murphy available for that job.
Wouldnt necessarily be put off by his stats at Villa, he'll chip in with plenty & more importantly make holes for the likes of Lolley, Carvalho & Grabban.
Kodja is a good striker. Has all the attributes you want at this level.
Slight concerns over his fitness, seemed like he was being nursed through the season a bit by Villa. I imagine he's on silly money too.
I just want to to pick up someone of his type prior to his status now. Bristol City paid £2m for him from Angers.
If we're using that Modesto who seems to identify the French/African types, hopefully he can find us our own Kodja in his mid 20s.
He has a worse goals to games ratio than Murphy over the last couple of seasons playing in a side that creates more chances, that's poor whatever way you slice it. If we are to spend that kind of money we should be spending it on someone who has actually done something recently rather than praying that a player recaptures his form from three years ago.
I find it odd that people would turn their noses up at Adomah (who has been a good player for Villa this past three years) yet then advocate us spending big money on someone like Kodjia, who has done nowt recently at the same club. I guess free transfers aren't as exciting as a multi million pound striker, regardless of said player's recent history.
