„I believe in socialism because it seems more humanitarian, rather than every man for himself and 'I'm alright jack' and all those arsehole businessmen with all the loot. I made up my mind from viewing society from that angle. That's where I'm from and there's where I've made my decisions from. That's why I believe in socialism“
„Don't forget you're alive. 'Cause sometimes when you walk around the city and you're in a bad mood, you can think, hey, wait a minute, we're alive! We don't know what the next second will bring and what a fantastic thing this is. This can get easily forgotten in the routine of life, and that's something I'm trying to bring to my attention at all times. Don't forget you're alive. We're not dead, you know. This is the greatest thing.”

Shite football has gate crashed the party.
This is worse than the bring back Billy thread
MON is like Brexit. Promises a ton of things he can’t deliver, wants to drag us back to more agricultural era and then blames everyone else when his methods are questioned.

I'd struggle to come up with one area these guys have improved.
Probably be the MoNaRK leaving party if we lose tomorrow
My theory is that you guys don't actually think they'll come good at all.
You're just desperate for it.
You don't want to see another Forest legend sacked, after Pearce. I get it. But these guys have been an unmitigated disaster. If there'd been a little regression, fine. But for things to change so drstically overnight you have to be doing something very, very wrong.
I think you'd need to be on 20 pints a day to think up a thread like this.
I think he'll do well next season, I'm not saying it will be pretty all the time but think we'll be up there.
You don't become a shit manager over a few years and it was fairly clear it would take a bit of time for him coming back into club management especially with a squad he knew little about.
Let's see what he can do. What's another season in the grand scheme of things? We've only been shit for the last 20. If he fails then so be it but I'd like to see either way.
Has anyone else ever come in to a club, introduced hoofball, lost 5 on the trounce, took a team from the cusp of the playoffs to a lower half finish, not been sacked... and then gone on to achieve promotion the next year?
Anyone?
I think we need to stop calling them 'miracle men' as some of you are taking it too literally.
It's not that he's become shit. It's that football has changed almost immeasurably over the past decade.
Can you teach an old dog new tricks?
I'm not so sure.
There are old school managers still doing alright but taking an etended period of time out of club management was probably the death knell in his career.

I think 'odd' is a good thing. Oddness shows originality, uniqueness and a desire to be different from the masses. Oddness is, maybe, only deemed 'odd' by the majority who are considered less odd but only by their own blinkered observations and understanding. Oddness should never be criticised but be encouraged to nurture, develop individualism and to explore the mind rather than conform to expectation and 'normality'. Many of the world's greatest works of art and prose were born from those minds many considered to be 'odd'.
