The important point for me is that multiple documents were submitted in time and, possibly due to an administrative error, one document was late.
The Arbitrator pointed out that,in these particular circumstances, the EFL did have discretion but refused to exercise that discretion.
In other words they are a bunch of bloody jobsworths.

Is there a way to block a thread? I can see this going on until January when he signs for someone else.

Late is late. Got an appointment at 5? A second after that it's late. It's quite interesting/impressive how lengthy a debate about time has gone on here.

Perhaps we all need to read “A short history of time” in its unexpurgated edition.

Is that the abridged version of A Brief History of Time?

    EXACT SAME BENEFITS

Obviously something went on that we don't know because the statement is clearly pulsating with anger at the EFL decision.

But I thought this regime understood the precious commodity of time?

Perhaps I should have said “A Long History of Time “ given the delay in arriving at a decision.

We weren't 21 seconds late, we were 16 months too late, when his agent was essentially shouting "Please someone sign my player!" from the rooftops, and WBA weren't even looking.

Doesn't matter anyway we'd still be shit. We'd just be shit with another player on big wages.

Moral of the story: Don't wait until the last minute of deadline day to do your business. Forest only have themselves to blame for this situation, regardless of the churlishness of the league.

I've only just seen a picture of Grosicki for the first time on the BBC website.

He looks like a forty-year-old with years of heavy drinking and snorting party powder in a Wetherspoons toilet behind him!

    Careful, he could turn ugly.

This sums up everything about where we are going wrong..

I didnt want to leave but, on the other hand, Nottingham Forest fought a lot for me. They also offered an excellent contract. Id make a lot more money than at West Brom."

Make no mistake, this won't be an isolated incident. You look at the team we have now. No desire, no real drive to succeed at the club.

That's the problem when you want player's who have 'been there & done it'.

They want a lot of money and there's no guarantee that they are capable of doing 'it' again. As we've found out to our cost multiple times over the years.
