His age, talent and the fact he's on a free makes it a potentially great deal. He's also arsed about with his career for the past 5 seasons which makes it equally risky. I wouldn't be upset if we offered him a short term deal, see if he can get himself sorted out.

That was my thoughts when derby were linked, has the potential to be a brilliant signing and also an absolute liability.

So if us or Derby manage to sign him it will definitely be the latter

Talented player but his lack of football over the last couple of years is a big concern.

Well if Jenkinson is off (with the arrival of Christie supposedly imminent), there will be a vacant spot on one of the treatment tables which Ibe could fill!

He wears his first name on his back, I think. This won't be popular with those who us tend to moan about stuff.

I quite like Jordan. My cousin married a big wheel there. Well, he was quite little actually.

    I love the country VP.

Took a rather epic road trip from Aqaba to Petra, via Amman.

Lovely friendly locals, brilliant food, and the most lax border guards I’ve ever met.

„I believe in socialism because it seems more humanitarian, rather than every man for himself and 'I'm alright jack' and all those arsehole businessmen with all the loot. I made up my mind from viewing society from that angle. That's where I'm from and there's where I've made my decisions from. That's why I believe in socialism“

„Don't forget you're alive. 'Cause sometimes when you walk around the city and you're in a bad mood, you can think, hey, wait a minute, we're alive! We don't know what the next second will bring and what a fantastic thing this is. This can get easily forgotten in the routine of life, and that's something I'm trying to bring to my attention at all times. Don't forget you're alive. We're not dead, you know. This is the greatest thing.”

Why not just put his surname on his shirt, attention seeking little prick

not that names are necessary on shirts anyway

We used to drive from Amman to Aqaba down the old desert road to their beach house. Great journey and great holidays. The ride through the siq into Petra and arrive at the Treasury building is just the stuff of dreams. Well I thought so, anyway.

It’s a good job names weren’t around in the golden era of Football, especially if forced to use your real name at 75p a letter?

Imagine having to get „Edson Arantes do Nascimento“ instead of „Pele“.

    You’d be skint.

I agree with you. When you walk down the Siq and are suddenly confronted with the Treasury, well, it makes your eyes pop.

I remember it being big news when The Pope entered Jordan once.
Not long after, Peter Andre divorced her. Not a coincidence.

Signed for Derby. Pretty happy we've dodged this one. Until he scores against us this season, obviously.
