It does make me laugh that Ludlum chose to give his 'not James Bond at all' character a name beginning Ja--- Bo---

And that it itself is an alias, as his real name is David Webb!

„I believe in socialism because it seems more humanitarian, rather than every man for himself and 'I'm alright jack' and all those arsehole businessmen with all the loot. I made up my mind from viewing society from that angle. That's where I'm from and there's where I've made my decisions from. That's why I believe in socialism“

„Don't forget you're alive. 'Cause sometimes when you walk around the city and you're in a bad mood, you can think, hey, wait a minute, we're alive! We don't know what the next second will bring and what a fantastic thing this is. This can get easily forgotten in the routine of life, and that's something I'm trying to bring to my attention at all times. Don't forget you're alive. We're not dead, you know. This is the greatest thing.”

My OH's BiL looks very like Idris, been stopped in airports and mobbed by schoolgirls on business trips. If Idris is Bond, I might take him out in a night out and pick up the scraps

Just picked up the 1-24 blu-ray boxset and plan to watch Spectre (not watched it fully yet) before going to watch NTTD hopefully Friday. Then going to do the whole lot over a few weeks.

Good call, but I’d recommend if you have time to watch all the Daniel Craig movies before going to see NTTD?

    Worst case, just watch Spectre.

I've seen all Craigs, most a few times other than spectre. May get time to do them before though.

Yeah I’d recommend it, because NTTD touches - no spoilers - on threads of the stories from all four of Daniel Craig‘s previous films.
