We only need 6 more midfielders after this one and we'll be halfway to having a complete midfield

Would be only the second Argentinian to play for NFFC.

„I believe in socialism because it seems more humanitarian, rather than every man for himself and 'I'm alright jack' and all those arsehole businessmen with all the loot. I made up my mind from viewing society from that angle. That's where I'm from and there's where I've made my decisions from. That's why I believe in socialism“

„Don't forget you're alive. 'Cause sometimes when you walk around the city and you're in a bad mood, you can think, hey, wait a minute, we're alive! We don't know what the next second will bring and what a fantastic thing this is. This can get easily forgotten in the routine of life, and that's something I'm trying to bring to my attention at all times. Don't forget you're alive. We're not dead, you know. This is the greatest thing.”

Well I remember seeing him clean out Gary Megson, so he’s got that in his locker.

Could've fooled me after about 10,000 tweets and posts along the lines of: "it's obvious that Watson and Colback can't play together"

Think he's very much in the 'destroyer' mould. Win ball, pass to someone more technical/creative, that's about the measure of his job.

WBA fans seem to love him, I've already seen "will run through brick walls for you".

Are we experimenting with the slowest midfield in the game?

I agree with you btw just a bit of sarcasm. I think Watson and Colback are fine especially with Bridcutt still here. Not really sure why we need this signing but I'm not complaining, Yacob is good at what he does.

I suppose this signing is because Karanka has decided after six games that Watson is done.

Yep, make tackle, simple horizontal, pick up obligatory yellow card.

See Watson, Colback & Bridcutt as things sit.

Lets hope the testimonials on this guy are out, we need a back up in the Guedioura mould & similar with Carvalho.

We lost most of our midfield in no man's land. Just checking on the latest recruits and then we'll send a patrol out.

We'll be climbing Yacob's Ladder to the Premier League/a position slightly above the Championship relegation zone.

For those who don't remember it, Yacob was an Olympiacos target earlier this summer, and I had asked you about him.

I really don't understand the reasoning for yet another midfielder.
