Good Twitter about Thai Street food. This one's my favourite, crispy pork and Thai kale and a fried egg on rice. You can find it anywhere at a street stall for about £1.20.

Homemade Steak and Kidney Pie, cabbage and leek and oven chips (Mrs made hers with mash but I’m not a fan). I have to say, Mrs G knocked it out the park with this pie!

There used to be a terrific Tai Restaurant in the middle of Christchurch (Dorset) and the food was delicios even though it knocked your socks off!

1 onion, 4 chicken breasts (recipe is for 8 thighs, use them unless you have to cater for a fussy eater like me), 2 Garlic cloves, 2 tsp chilli flakes, 4tbsp sun-dried tomato pesto, 250ml chicken stock, 2 tins of chopped tomatoes, 5 thyme sprigs, sugar to taste.
And butter, flour, parmesan and milk to make the dumplings.

Looks great, but being a pie expert, I'd have gone shortcrust instead of puff. Assuming my eyes arent deceiving me that is.

That dish you can choose whether to add chili or not. Looks like that one has got a good chunk!
I've been to that restaurant, my niece lives round there and we went when we went to her wedding.

Funnily enough, we had had this conversation. When she last made it, she used short crust, this time she used puff and we all agreed (me, Mrs and 11yo son) that we all preferred the puff pastry. My only grumble was the lack of kidney in it, bloody love the stuff.

I always caveat Malted Milks with Moo Cow Biscuits as well haha. I have to say, I am partial but my current weakness is a Jammy Dodger.
And I don’t blame you Fred. It is one of the few advantages of teams meetings.

My mum used to (still does I bet) meat and potato pie but with corned beef. It was one of the few meals I actually used to enjoy when she made it.
