The other good thing about that is when a player has shared a good connection with a manager, it can’t be underestimated how special that bond can be as a two way thing in getting the best out of each other.

That’ll cheer up Karanka and it might rub off on the others.

Having seen a lot of Tomlin at Peterborough, he’s definitely a ‘marmite’ player...not in reference to his eating habits. He has skill, guile and creativity as some have pointed out already, but he also has a bit of Jamie Ward about him, winding opposition players up and being a bit of a niggly ****.

warnock only signed him in the summer and like karanka , tomlin face doesn't fir and he's gone. same for lee camp , he just signed in the summer. gone on loan to sunderland now.
