Nixon heavily hinting on Twitter that we're signing him.

I got told about this about a month back by a mate who used to play with him, except I was told it would be that week. I assumed it would be part of an Assombalonga deal.

Would've played with Jack Lester at Chesterfield.

Very solid for this level, and if we're being honest we need someone to push Lichaj as well; if the two are competing for a spot, or if Lichaj has to fill in for Traore if he's injured, it can only be good news for us.

    A welcome signing.

I think Burnley are after Phil Bardsley from Stoke so I'm guessing he means they're getting rid of a Darikwa to get Bardsley in?

His name would get you a cracking score at Scrabble.

„I believe in socialism because it seems more humanitarian, rather than every man for himself and 'I'm alright jack' and all those arsehole businessmen with all the loot. I made up my mind from viewing society from that angle. That's where I'm from and there's where I've made my decisions from. That's why I believe in socialism“

„Don't forget you're alive. 'Cause sometimes when you walk around the city and you're in a bad mood, you can think, hey, wait a minute, we're alive! We don't know what the next second will bring and what a fantastic thing this is. This can get easily forgotten in the routine of life, and that's something I'm trying to bring to my attention at all times. Don't forget you're alive. We're not dead, you know. This is the greatest thing.”

Can he play in the centre of midfield....? As his preferred position is Right-Back I'm going to presume the manager will play him as a central midfielder...

Oh not wait we have a proper manager now... no square pegs in no holes...

He started out as a winger I believe, so I wouldn't be surprised if he was a more attack minded full back.

Yes, Phil Bardsley has just signed for Burnley. Warburton mentioned something about other deals needing to be done and things falling into place before we can land the players we are supposedly close to signing. All the pieces seem to fit for this one...
