This would make sense as Burnley have signed Beardsley and we keep playing 3 at the back so he would be a perfect right wing back.

If Burnley have signed Peter Beardsley then there's every chance they might want Chris Cohen.

Taylor confirming on Twitter that it is Darikwa we are close to signing.

Another player who has the experience of being promoted to the Premier League in the last few seasons.

I would prefer James Justin but this could still be a decent move.

Seems like another good addition, assuming it happens. Like Murphy, another player who seems to be well liked / rated by fans of the club that he's leaving, which is usually a good sign.

We absolutely need another wing back on both sides, and this looks a good signing. This, a left-back, Bouchalakis, a defensive midfielder and a goalkeeper to replace Stojkovic and we'll be in a much better place going into the season.

It's only injuries that prevented him getting in Burnleys team, and once you are out, you are out as Dyche literally never changes his team.

Could be a little bit of a steal, the quality is clearly there and he doesn't need to set the world apart, just compete with Eric. If he gets in the team ahead of Eric he would have done well.

Agree with this, a left back and a couple of midfielders (one of which looks as if it'll be Bouchalakis) and we look in pretty good nick going into the new season I feel.

We have 3 goalkeepers in the senior squad at the moment (Smith, Henderson and Stojkovic), ideally we can shift one (or both) of Henderson and Stojkovic to make room for another keeper.

Pretty much spot on but I think we need more of a box to box man than a holding on. All of Vaughan, Cohen and Bouchalakis can sit, we need one that can bomb up and down the pitch. *Enter Irvine*

Nobody can really predict how a signing will pan out, but this screams common sense and good business.

    - We are desperate for depth in the full back positions. Warburton said himself after 'Without Eric we had no full backs, literally, so I had to make do with the personnel available.' This is being addressed.

    - As a converted winger, an attacking full back, he's a natural fit for Mark's favoured 4-3-3 system.

    - 21 starts for Burnley when they won the league in 2016 (picked in the first XI every game before Christmas) before he lost his place to a new signing in January.

Very pleased. It makes their offer for Britt even more derisory.

i imagine him finding championship a step up from league 2 (chesterfield like arriyibi) hence why burnley signed a new rb in january. Hopefully , by now. He's gotten better equipped.Guess we won't be signing justin james then. Next up ,a left wingback , not have osborn there.
