The good looking bird who you thought may have winked at you as you walked past on holiday has destroyed your hope and is now getting piped on the balcony opposite by some weasel faced fuck with a big dick. Time to move on.
„I believe in socialism because it seems more humanitarian, rather than every man for himself and 'I'm alright jack' and all those arsehole businessmen with all the loot. I made up my mind from viewing society from that angle. That's where I'm from and there's where I've made my decisions from. That's why I believe in socialism“
„Don't forget you're alive. 'Cause sometimes when you walk around the city and you're in a bad mood, you can think, hey, wait a minute, we're alive! We don't know what the next second will bring and what a fantastic thing this is. This can get easily forgotten in the routine of life, and that's something I'm trying to bring to my attention at all times. Don't forget you're alive. We're not dead, you know. This is the greatest thing.”

I know I started the whole Watkins to Forest thing early last year, so maybe Forest were never even looking at him, but missing out on him will come back to haunt us.
Watkins coming in might pave the way for Jota to leave. Forest stepping out of the way for a reason..? Murphy doesn't feel like the best reinvestment of the Britt money, would suggest there is a significant amount available to strengthen our attack in other ways.
If Jota leaves Brentford it'll be to a Premier League club or to a Championship club in receipt of parachute payments.
We can't offer huge wages and from a career standpoint Forest would be a step down from Brentford at this moment in time. No incentive at all for him to come here.
The Warburton fator?

Sad reflection of where we currently are as a club and what we can offer in terms of wages, profile & dreams of the Prem.
And why we sadly may have to "make do" with certain signings until that changes.
£33m (Thirty three million) to Villa.
Fucking hell fire that’s a lot
Always fun reading the first few pages when these type of threads get bumped.
We didn't need Watkins anyway, we got Murphy & Cummings.
Exeter have a 15% sell on - be the highest transfer fee they’ve ever received
Nor did we need James Justin who's had stick in this thread earlier - the player who's about to start the season at a club playing in Europe. We lauded the signing of Carl Jenkinson instead.
It's almost as if our fans aren't very good at identifying suitable players for the club.
Fair play to Brentford, they've got a really good price for him, and they'll use that money no doubt to buy a load of other "expensive lower league shit" which they turn into solid players.
.k I m
I m u mm
Villa have form for paying fucking crazy transfer fees.
3 mill for Lansbury springs to mind.
Pleased for Exeter. So approx 4.2m for them.
A decent top 4. https://www.transfermarkt.com/exeter...ge/verein/6699
Like when they lost Ampadu at 16 they lost striker Jay Stansfield a year ago when he was 16 and already made his debut for Fulham and isn't on that list yet.
Watkins has improved every season in the Championship, he's young and he's English.
If Dominic Solanke went for £20m, then Watkins going for 28 and change isn't that mental.
If he’d have come here in 2017, he’d currently be in the same position as Zach Clough.
Could be why out signings are always in their twilight years, young players know we’ll kill their career!
Thirty three Trevor Francis'.
