Can't say I know much about this Shinnie fellow, looked at a thread on one of their forums which seemed to suggest we've bid £1m for him. I'd imagine he's a player Warburton is probably familiar with from his time at Rangers.
Birminham just signed Cheikh N'Doye for free , former captain of angers sco (the same team that bristol city signed kojda for 2.5 million) , build like a tank and still at 31, would have been useful.
Think we need to look at foreign shores 'cus the local uk transfer market is over inflated.

„I believe in socialism because it seems more humanitarian, rather than every man for himself and 'I'm alright jack' and all those arsehole businessmen with all the loot. I made up my mind from viewing society from that angle. That's where I'm from and there's where I've made my decisions from. That's why I believe in socialism“
„Don't forget you're alive. 'Cause sometimes when you walk around the city and you're in a bad mood, you can think, hey, wait a minute, we're alive! We don't know what the next second will bring and what a fantastic thing this is. This can get easily forgotten in the routine of life, and that's something I'm trying to bring to my attention at all times. Don't forget you're alive. We're not dead, you know. This is the greatest thing.”

I bloody hope not. Nice bloke but he couldn't pass water. We need better than Moussi right now.
Agree that Europe is better value than here though. There's still lots of experienced internationals knocking about on free transfers too, surprised we haven't been linked to any considering the mad prices clubs are demanding.
Joe Ledley is still available for example, I'd take him in a heartbeat

Roofe was in League One when he was sold to Leeds.
4 million would break the league 2 transfer record by a significant margin according to transfermarkt. I agree to an extent that it is the player, not the division, that should primarily determine the fee, but the standard of football he is currently weighed against should colour the club's judgment. Whoever ends up shelling out the money (looks like Brentford) better be sure they've got a special player on their hands.

Quite an interesting list if accurate. Two of the top three are keepers (Gazzaniga and Schmeichel). Highest fee for an outfield player is Matt Grimes to Swansea for 1.9 million. Number 8 is Nathan Tyson to Forest for 850k FFS.
Joe ledley is resigning for cardiff , i believe. There was always going to be one destination for ledley once he's released.
I will be devastated in Jota goes to the sheep.

Exeter City took their 17/18 team photo today, and Watkins was absent. He's definitely going somewhere..
Really hope it's here. He's perfect for our system above all things (although, same could be said for Brentford). He can play wide or upfront, technically good and brilliant finisher.
It looks likely, but what if Warburton knew of Britts pending departure and has already got a couple of players lined up to announce in the coming days.
If we announced any signings this week, I think that'll tell us a lot about Warburton's recruitment abilities and forward planning.
More chance of Lovelace Watkins
Looking online, we appear to be about the only Championship club who hasn't been linked to him.

We've got the young, hungry prospect in Cummings. We may need someone a bit more established in the goal scoring department.
We said that about Pereira though.

£1.2m? That's a steal if that's the case. City could have got at least £3m for him.
Confirmed, just for closure.
