If Warburton feels that he is he 'man' then I rely on his judgement.

Interesting. Warburton has gone for experienced pros in the past, see Barton/Clint Hill at Rangers. This one very much in that mould. Can't imagine he'd play much if he came but certainly could be useful being in the right place at the right time on a Tuesday night game in the winter to collect a draw/win.
