Why would you want to convert him into something else? Why not play him where he's best suited?

Maybe Mighten could be converted to a Centre back. How about Swan in sticks?

    How about a defensive midfielder?

We're crying out for one surely.

    Default Brennan Johnson

Dale Taylor scoring a lot of goals in the academy. Could he be converted into a centre-half perhaps?

Whilst we're converting players to roles that they don't seem to be suited for, perhaps we could try Yates as a footballer?

In all seriousness CR, I can foresee Yates eventually moving to centre-back at some point, although not necessarily here I hasten to add.

Megson in charge to oversee it

    Yates pots for me.

He was littered with mistakes but the best of a bad bunch.

Hes a good lad. Works hard, tries his best, and wants to improve. I'm sure he realises how many headers he's missed, he seems like a bright lad.

If they can work on that and getting more goals out of him I could actually see him more as a Halford-type emergency striker. Actually, thats unfair on Halford who was decent up front.
