Good work Sir. I must take time to twiddle it into order of contract expiration also

By "relegation battle", do you mean 7th, 12th or 14th?

Perhaps Big E knobbled the judge?

Your palms are holding her neck and thumbs are at her ears regulating the speed of her head as she swallows and then sucks up your machinery. She is topping up your engine oil for the cross-country coming up. Your RPM is hitting a new high. To wait any longer would be to lose prime time... She picks up a Bugatti's momentum. You want her more at a Volkswagen's steady trot. Squeeze the maximum mileage out of your gallon of gas. But she's eating up the road with all cylinders blazing.

Matt mill signed a 2 year contract, unless he signed an extension, his deal expires at the end of this season.

Not to pick fault, would it make easier reading to have the players listed in expiry order.

    i.e

    Chris Cohen 2017
    Ben Osborn 2020

There seems to be quite a few players out of contract at the end of this season (DDV, Lansbury, Mills, Fryatt, Blackstock, Veldwijk, Vaughan, Pinillos, Mancienne and Cohen) which would clear a fair bit of wages off the books, even if we renewed the likes of Cohen, Pinillos, Lansbury and DDV

If there are any mistakes, let me know and i'll correct them

    THE LIST:

Squad Number - Name - Years left - When last Contract was Signed

    1 – Dorus de Vries - 1 Year (Feb 2015)
    2 – Eric Lichaj - 2 Years (March 2016)
    3 – Daniel Pinillos - 1 Year (Summer 2015)
    4 – Michael Mancienne - 1 Year (Summer 2014)
    5 – Matt Mills - 1 Year (Summer 2015)
    6 – Armand Traore - 3 Years (Summer 2016)
    7 – Matty Fryatt - 1 Year (Summer 2014)
    8 – Chris Cohen - 1 Year (Feb 2016)
    9 – Britt Assombalonga - 3 Years (Summer 2014)
    10 – Henri Lansbury - 1 Year (Summer 2014)
    11 – Ben Osborn - 4 Years (August 2016)
    13 – Danny Fox - 2 Years (Summer 2016)
    14 – Lars Veldwijk - 1 Year (Summer 2014)
    19 – Jamie Ward - 3 Years (summer 2015)
    21 – Jamie Paterson - 2 Years (March 2014)
    23 – Dexter Blackstock - 1 Year (Feb 2013)
    24 – David Vaughan - 1 Year (Summer 2014)
    25 – Jack Hobbs - 2 Years (January 2014)
    26 – Dimitar Evtimov - 3 Years (Summer 2015)
    27 – Damien Perquis - 2 Years (Summer 2016)
    28 – Thomas Lam - 3 Years (Summer 2016)
    30 – Stephen Henderson - 3 Years (Summer 2016)
    34 – Tyler Walker - 3 Years (Summer 2015)
    35 – Oliver Burke - 4 Years (Feb 2016)
    37 – Jorge Grant - 1 Year + 1 Year option (Feb 2015)
    39 – Apostolos Vellios - 4 Years (Summer 2016)
    40 – Alex Iacovitti - 2 Years (Spring 2016)
    41 – Matty Cash - 3 Years (August 2016)
    42 – Joe Worrall - 2 Years (January 2016)
    43 – Jordan Smith - 1 Year (May 2016)
    44 – Ryan Yates - 2 Years (Unknown)
    46 – Jordan Gabriel - 3 Years (January 2016)
The ones in Bold i'd be rushing to give them new deals ASAP.

Feel like it'll Cost a fortune so i'd Give De Vries, Lansbury, Mills and Cohen priority.

I thought that Britt's contract was for 5 years, not 3. BBC reported it as 5 when he signed - http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/28681698

De Vries - depends on how much he wants
Mills - yes (sensible contract though)
    Cohen - release
    Lansbury - sell
    Mancienne - sell

It's really really pleasing to see Osborn and Burke on such lengthy deals! They are truly the jewels of the younger generation and capable of fantastic careers! I hope we can be successful enough to keep them long term- but if we aren't, those contracts mean we'll get the best possible price should we need to cash in!

hmm. on further investigation, i cant seem to find anything definitive, the article on the OS announcing his arrival doesnt specify the length of the contract, stories about him signing on other sites like Sky and the BBC dont either and stories about him possibly signing mention both 2 AND 3 year offers :/

EDIT: Having a quick check, FM has his contract expiry at 2018, so maybe i WAS right first time round?

Given the embargo situation of the time, I'd expect we would have given him a lengthy contract as we did with Ward.

„I believe in socialism because it seems more humanitarian, rather than every man for himself and 'I'm alright jack' and all those arsehole businessmen with all the loot. I made up my mind from viewing society from that angle. That's where I'm from and there's where I've made my decisions from. That's why I believe in socialism“

„Don't forget you're alive. 'Cause sometimes when you walk around the city and you're in a bad mood, you can think, hey, wait a minute, we're alive! We don't know what the next second will bring and what a fantastic thing this is. This can get easily forgotten in the routine of life, and that's something I'm trying to bring to my attention at all times. Don't forget you're alive. We're not dead, you know. This is the greatest thing.”

Just makes more sense but I also remember it being 3 years and TrfMkt not really wrong that much.
