We understand that #nffc are close to signing the former QPR and Arsenal defender Armand Traore.

Left back. Means Cohen is gonna be in the middle. Fox is being kept as a centre half as Pinillos will be back soon.
Reinforces that we will probably be selling MMx2

Nottingham Forest have agreed a deal to sign former Arsenal and QPR defender Armand Traore. #nffc #QPR
A left back now and one that was not fondly remember by QPR fans. Hope we are not paying his last salary at QPR.

Judging by twitter Traore was absolutely useless last season for QPR but when he first arrived was decent...
What a another defender? havent we got enough, or perhaps the gaffer is thinking of playing a dougie type defense, plus 1 more
I usually try to stay positive about new signings but got to admit this one feels a bit underwhelming. Having said that so did Matt Mills...
He's meant to be good going forward, no? Hopefully we're looking to control the game with possession, meaning he doesn't have to defend too much, and he can attack. Until Pinillos gets back, him and Fox can surely sort out the LB spot.
Though this probably means Mance is going
Hopefully we didn't sign him on the same wages. He was on 25k per week at QPR and was complacent after getting that salary which pissed off the QPR fans. Hopefully he loses the attitude and work hard.
I remember him being quite good in a game or two for Arsenal. Maybe he needs a French manager to get the best out of him. Good stuff
Means our defence looks like this:
RB: Lichaj, Pereria
CB: Mance, Mills, Hobbs, Perquis, Fox, Lam (+ Worrall and Iacvotti)
LB: Pinillos, Traore
Means one or two CB's must go (Mance most likely), or Lam is backup LB and Pereria is going to play further forward. At least most of these backups are on the cheap.
He's pretty much has gotten a new defence . I can understand building from the back , hopefully we can see attacking players next.
Dont know much about Armand, but apparently he's "the nuts" going forward.
I think it's obvious what Montanier looks for in a fullback, with the signings of Pereira and Traore.
Cheap replacements coming in for other defenders leaving; likely to see one of Hobbs or Mancienne leaving shortly.
At least we finally seem to be signing players for a system. Hopefully Montaniers going for a team thats a sum bigger than its parts. Rather than looking at a player and thinking "we need someone in that position and he's played for two teams in the PL, lets just go for him."
Only 26 so got plenty left in the tank, Thought he was older than that for some reason.
It looks like Montanier is giving himself the option of playing 3-5-2, with Traore and Pereria bombing down the wing. That Rennes fan did say that he likes his wacky formations, which is alright if it works
If Montanier can get him playing his best, he will be a class above in the championship I reckon.
Cool, seems to be a signing that fits into the system. Building from the back is definitely the way to create a successful side.

I hear that's the way to build a side. There's someone who used to do that at Forest, but the name escapes me.
