He started out "interviewing" hungover college kids, bombarded them with "facts", using without forming any sort of coherent argument, then edited the videos to make them look even worse.

Whilst that's certainly not behaviour limited just to conservative media, poor old Ben always ends up looking like a complete buffoon when he goes up against a serious debater.
