Don't forget, Derby still have this hanging over their heads too.

They need to get some money for players and sharpish.

Great, so they only need 3,000 local businesses to sign up and they'll have enough to pay the taxman (plus an envelope and stamp when they post the cheque).

    Dear Derby County,

I am the owner of a local business and I have seen the appeals to help raise funds to keep you afloat.

I have discussed this with my partner and staff and we really want to be able to help you.

Unfortunately, our business is going through a short term cashflow problem (something I am sure you can relate to) due to one of our major customers going into administration, which threatens not only our livelihoods, but our family home, our children's education, our parents care, our pet dogs, guinea pigs and fish as well as our future.

As yet, the administrators have not contacted us to advise us of how they are going to pay us the money we are owed, or even what % of that money we are likely to receive, which not only is causing us a great deal of stress, but also preventing us from being able to make our own plans on how we are going to keep our own business trading.

Whilst we wish you every success in your quest, I am sure that you will understand why, on this occasion, we are unable to help you with a donation of even £1 let alone £10000, I hope other local businesses in the same predicament as we are, will be able to provide you with whatever help they can.

Wishing you all the best for the future,

    A local Derby business.

Arsenal told Derby that they don't have to pay another installment till October 2022 https://metro.co.uk/2021/10/06/arsen...ents-15372259/

I think the minimum should be 80 pounds

Any investment below that wouldn't be worth the heavy lifting

If they don't pay Arsenal back the outstanding, you'd think that they could reclaim him and try and sell him again to recover some money. Mind you they would have to pay him wages then so could end up losing even more.

He was a pain in the arse on Saturday and I was glad to see him go off. Worth a cheeky bid?

Still very much in the shit.

    That's only another 9 months.

As we all know, 9 months goes very quickly. Any mothers here?

Is that legally binding though or just an informal arrangement?

ie. If Arsenal should suddenly want to change their mind and demand payment, can they?

It doesn't sound like an official and legally binding agreement.

Sounds like a word of mouth type of agreement. In an email or something. Which holds no substance.

That's what I thought. Which is as good as meaningless for any potential investor really.

I'd love to be a fly on the wall at their own forums admins meetings, when they see things like this. (If they have meetings)

That forum we like to go laugh at is owed an amount of money from dcfc for advertising and this is a direct beg to them.

They are already being shafted by the club and then told to forget about the money we aren't going to pay you and donate no less than £10k to keep us going.

I thought along similar lines and nearly put You Shilts, you as I thought you would prefer that but thought it would have been pushing it.
