Eddie's not going anywhere north of Watford Gap, he's far too much of a southerner.
It's hardly like he'll be needing the money anytime soon on Premier League earnings these days.

Yep, he can afford to be picky about his next job. Pretty much nailed on that his next job will be at a southern club in the Premier League. I don't see the Derby job being appealing to him in the slightest.

I agree I don’t think that Derby would appeal to him at all. That being said there was a sizeable group on here that thought he could have come to Forest so by that leap in logic why would he not go to Derby?

Forget Eddie Howe. Let's concentrate on the here and now and the weekend got off to a good start last night at the Sheep Dip.

Set us up for a triumphal victory at Ewood Park this afternoon and then Strictly Come Dancing this evening to finish off a really zingy couple of days.

He certainly needs to find himself a decent Tailor, judging by some of those photos.

„I believe in socialism because it seems more humanitarian, rather than every man for himself and 'I'm alright jack' and all those arsehole businessmen with all the loot. I made up my mind from viewing society from that angle. That's where I'm from and there's where I've made my decisions from. That's why I believe in socialism“

„Don't forget you're alive. 'Cause sometimes when you walk around the city and you're in a bad mood, you can think, hey, wait a minute, we're alive! We don't know what the next second will bring and what a fantastic thing this is. This can get easily forgotten in the routine of life, and that's something I'm trying to bring to my attention at all times. Don't forget you're alive. We're not dead, you know. This is the greatest thing.”

What? Corruption? It's a bit of tax-free business.

    This is how ultra-wealth works.

Josh Beardsley is Phil Beardsley's son. He uses his Dad's network to create a business selling top end watches to sports people and their wealthy hangers-on.

He gives a 'gift' to Rooney and takes a couple of photos of Rooney receiving the watch, unboxing and shot wearer it.

Because it's a gift, Rooney doesn't get paid for his image rights (therefore no tax) but the gifter can claim it as an expense, writing it down against his profits (a tax write-off).

The watch-seller now has images of Rooney with his merchandise which he can use as marketing to sell more watches to up and coming players around the NorthWest who want to be like Rooney.

Luxury items are the stock-in-trade of former prem players and the offspring. Watches, other jewelry, clothing, cars. Etc.

If Wayne does the right thing and self-isolates for 14 days, which he should do having previously made such a fuss about the covid-19 outbreak, he'll miss quite a number of games. Including one local derby.

He was quiet as a mouse against us last season. The Water buffalo's no problem.

I like anything that can spoil their plans, especially where we are concerned.

But I do wonder if an absent Rooney might make them play to their team strengths rather than Wazza's?

But also wonder if Cocu could shape them up at all.

So I'm holding out for a 3rd win in 3.

Rooney and Lawrence are the only good players in their midfield/attack. Most of the rest are kids from the academy.

Sibley is good, but still very young. Needs to be a bit stronger and then he'll dominate teams.

Even with a negative test he should isolate for 14 days as it might not show up so early on tests.

He needs to be self-isolating for 14 days after he had contact with the positive test, as he could have caught it. Shouldn't even have been out if he'd tested positive, how irresponsible is that?

    It beggars belief really.
