Helped Sheffield United to the next round of the cup today

Cracking goal for the Blades... used his strength & pace with a fine finish

He was getting fine reviews from the commentators I heard.

He does ok against lower league teams. It’s the Premier League teams he struggles against.

Burke just hit a screamer into the top corner of DeGea's net

Was the winning goal at Old Trafford tonight, 2-1 Blades

Even before the goal, Burke was using his speed and physique to unsettle the United back line. Well done Oli, hard uck Ole

Fair play to the lad and credit where its due. Few more like that to get Sheffield United past the 11 point mark please Oli.

He hit it straight at the Utd player right in front of him

Despite their poor season, McGoldrick, Sharp & Burke are Sheff U's 3 top goal scorers this season.

    Sigh

He played it off a cushion into the middle pocket.

That’s a very kind interpretation of Burke coming on, doing nothing, then scuffing a shot straight at a defender which deflected over the keeper....

The first two couldn't get into the team here, because of Billy Davies. I still can't fathom what he had against Billy Sharp. Of all the mad things he did that's the one that most baffles me.

Makes you doesn't it. Not good enough for Nottingham Forest but good enough to play in the league above.

In Burke's case we got very lucky to get such a ton of money for a pretty duff player.

Why are you always knocking our ex-players Prof?

Burke's shot may have taken a slight deflection, but because of the power & accuracy, it cannoned into the net. De Gea wasn't going to save it anyway

Burke isn’t the brightest is he? The jury is out for me whether he has the ability to learn and improve. I can see why Sheff U coaches have focused on maximising his physical attributes and got him to bulk out. Route one is probably the best you can aim for with him. He’s tall and fast. Now he’s big, tall and fast. No other aspect of his game seems to have improved.
